Account wrongly banned
Went to switch characters after an iron banner match with some clanmates and got an error code and now am seeing "This account has been banned"
I have never cheated, installed any type of cheating software, or done anything that would justify a ban. I've also never received any form of temporary ban or received any warnings or anything of that nature, as I have never done anything that would justify it.
Really hoping there has been some error tonight that will be quickly resolved and undone, as it seems there are a whole bunch of people reporting the same thing in the past hour. I've played thousands of hours going back to beta d1 on ps4, d2 on ps4, and d2 on pc and am sure that this is an error. Please help!

13 RepliesHello, In Destiny there are account restriction and bans. Restrictions are only temporary, but if it's the case that you indeed got a ban those are permanent. Please note that Bungie will not discuss or overturn account restrictions or bans. They carefully research those reports against their server logs for actual shenanigans (cheating/exploits). If those reports and the investigation bear fruit, they will deal with it accordingly. I was also banned today for using discord these bans are not right and need to be stopped.
