In a pre-release interview (IGN, maybe?) he said that Luke made fun of him in D1 for playing with sub-optimal builds. Luke's a min-maxer, so to him there is only one 'right' way to play a class. Noseworthy was not as good as Luke, and often used builds that were not optimal. Luke's d-bag-ery bruised his fragile ego, so they changed it in D2 so that, basically, you couldn't play a class wrong. If you weren't allow to build it your way, you couldn't build it wrong. It fits nicely with Luke's statement that if his 4-year-old nieces couldn't figure something out, he didn't allow it to go live in the game.

Edited by Warlock Sorcerer: 5/29/2018 2:45:03 PMNo, it was because Mark Noseworthy and Luke Smith who made the decision, I don’t think Wiesnewski had any say in the matter.

I get Noseworthy and Wiz mixed up quite often. My mistake. I'll edit.
