I don't care what anyone says. Streamers, YouTubers, "content creators" whatever you want to call them. They are all the plague to this game.
If it wasn't for this greedy company using them to sell the next thing whatever that may be, this game wouldn't be such a huge mess. Cozmo said the feedback taken from this forum is Only 1%. 1% isn't JS when it comes to this forum giving feedback to this company. Gee, I wonder where the rest of that feedback is coming from because Reddit is not the entire player base, and people that enable a company to keep making their deliberate poor actions are the problem on why games are being created the way they are today.

Gamers have been trying to use that cop out line knowing that train crashed years ago. All they are doing now is trying to pick up pieces of the wreckage. This is a company that has been in business for almost 30 years, they have had 3+ years of Legit feedback just from this forum and have literally ignores 99% of it unless it is the small petty things that are just normal maintenance to other companies. They literally took the wish list that was actually 2 of them and threw it all in the trash. That's logic at it's best...

I have always been vocally disdained with how Bungie treats their community, and the continued disappointments we've had to endure while this game never seems to make the mark (just in case you want to level the classic response that I'm a Bungie sellout, or something of that nature) That being said, people that complain about content creators have always confused me. People that spend large portions of their time learning and becoming educated and [b]personally invested [/b] with the game, are written off as nothing more than sellouts. I find this especially hilarious, because most of the more prominent content creators have almost unanimously denounced this game for all of its short comings. Literally biting the hand that feeds them, if we take your view of them into account. While we're at it, have you even read the stuff that comes out of this forum? It's mostly vitriol and trash. Your recommendation for using these forums over content creators feedback, suggest to me that [i]you're the new kid on the block.[/i] You don't have to agree with content creators, but please spare me the notion that they are pulling this game in the wrong direction. While I'll admit that there are certain hardcore players who levy complaints that really aren't relevant to the overall community, just remember that Destiny 2 was literally built from the ground up, [i]for casuals[/i]. And, might I add, against the wishes of those same content creators I hear people comparing to [i]literal cancer[/i]... There is a reason these forums may only make up 1% of overall received feedback. Nobody here can step out of their echo chamber long enough to levy balanced and non-hyperbole criticism.

Nothing personal but longer story short? when Cozmo said only 1% of the feedback is taken from the forum it only goes to show where the rest is coming from. Especially with this cheap move with the IB Emote after the "community summit" took place and Barrett saying Bungie said they wouldn't lock content behind Eververse. Funny how the content creators came back all "happy" after the summit that was just into time to get the "content creators" fans all lined up with this "DLC" Anyways, You have your opinion and I have mine, but i'll stick with what actions that have actually been shown versus "words" said...

Datto, one of the most prolific content creators in the community, came out of the gate swinging with harsh criticism. And if you don't take his word for it? Fine. Watch his videos. He has had one of the loudest voices denouncing Destiny 2 for all of its failures.

You're literally superimposing Bungie's bad decisions onto content creators, who more than likely were never shown the emote, or the 10$ paywall. It is that kind of reasoning that gets feedback on this forum largely ignored.

While I find your cop out of the argument disguised as a mic drop to be adorable (with which you never address a single point I make), It's clear you are too far stuck in your biased and uniformed opinion to see things clearly. I was never at any point defending Bungie for the changes they make or the way they treat their community. This idea you have in your head that content creators are too "afraid" to speak out is easily disproven by watching a single video from top content creators. Perhaps it's that your only view of what makes criticism effective is name calling, tantrum throwing and hate spewing. And if that's really your view, I gladly rest my case. You are a prime example of why this forum can, and only ever will be, useless in the effort of making this game better. They're a plague to all games with PVP honestly. It isn't bad enough pvp is usually flooded with the douches who used to beat up gamers but now it's flood by streamers and their douchey fans. The few streamers I watch rarely play pvp thankfully and if they did i'd just stop watching.

That's a little unfair/disengenuous don't you think? I mean, I tried to be a content creator myself for a bit but gave up out of frustration at Bungie and their sheer ineptitude. It's true that most (I don't wanna say all but defintiely the majority) of content creators for this franchise (or indeed in general it seems these days) tend to just be positive about the game and lap praise on it - but I'm sure there are some out there who are openly critical of Bungie. The problem is there aren't more of them. This is one of the reasons I really enjoy BDobbins channel, as he often just rips the industry (usually activision) a new one and calls things as they are, using facts and logic. I know a lot of people on here just get all butthurt even at the mention of him but I don't care, I'm not trying to reach those plebs because they're beyond saving. But if more people would put out content without trading their convictions for clickbait, things may be a bit better. Also again, I have to stress that this is ultimately Bungie's IP. It doesn't really matter what feedback they get, they have proven time and again they will just do whatever the hell they feel like. Stop using content creators as a scapegoat.

They are nothing more than marketing tools. TOOL being the operative word. The devs and publishers get free publicity with the “content creators” videos and they also get used to “influence” their audience by hyping up future updates and DLC. Their viewing demographic is usually children who are very easily persuaded. It’s cool if you like that sort of shit, YouTubers and streamers, but I only watch the videos that have news about games. I couldn’t honestly care less about watching them play,or listening to their thoughts and opinions. I especially hate the loot box opening vids, such cancer. Especially with the over dramatic reactions, covering mouth with hands, jumping out of chair, squealing like a girl. Chill dickhead, it’s just a stupid cosmetic. Just remember them for what they are, puppets for the industry, without any dignity or honest opinions. They are more than happy to do it too because they get paid. Not to mention the kickbacks they get like free trips and merch, so long as they never bash the game. If you do you get blacklisted. No more free review copies, no more invites to the studio...etc Of course I’m generalizing. Not every youtuber is like this. I’m just referring to the ones that are. This whole summit thing was a joke. Take a bunch of asskissers to the studio to generate hype for the DLC. It’s not like people couldn’t see that. Oh, I’m sure they talked about the problems too, but that was just because it’s a hot topic. I’m sure the people who went only partially criticized the game, don’t wanna bite the hand that feeds. Most of the shit that came out of their mouth was probably praise. Games used to be my favorite hobby, but every year things get worse and worse. The greed, the lack of quality...it’s really starting to turn me off. Haven’t turned on the console in over a month. End rant.
