Just an idea.

THE PATH OF THE TRAVELER Im a fan of this universe. I played a lot the first one, even when i got behind because not having the expansions. I always liked this franchise and i choose to support you by buying soon a copy of this one, i played the demo and looked a lot of info, reviews, etc. My dream is to be an occupational psychologyst in videogame studios, to care and look out for the mental health of the workers and making creative content for these interactive projects. So, i want to see the franchises that i like success, and this is a humble input that may give a hand, in any possible way. There it goes. CONCEPT One campaign for each guardian class, with few variations inside of each one. Three key guardians in the creation of the history of Destiny’s universe, playing the following periods/events: - The discovery of the Traveler. - Humanity’s peak in our history. - The arrive of the Darkness. - The dawn of mankind. - The Iron Defense. A history yet untold, one to make the definitive bond between player and the game, to soak the player in this universe and how it was created according to the story, the life (and death maybe, why not) of three great guardians that set the path for the rest. Making these three campaigns fun and dynamic with special depth in the history of these characters as for the history of the universe of Destiny how we know it today. CONCEPT EXPLAINED All starts with creating one epic guardian for each class. Then the player could choose between the three classes for each of them, wich means choosing from three available campaigns, but all of them will be lined with a central argument. In this story, the two choices that are left over from the actual choice of the player, will be covered by the two characters initially created for these roles. This also means that there will be a story previously made up for the character that the player is using, but the player will be able to customize his/her armor and weapons. The remaining roles from the player’s choice will be played by the A.I or by another player. These three guardians will not be always together in the story, in the campaign, so when the three roles are being played by players (and not by the A.I), in those instances of the story each player will be playing again alone temporally witch his/her respective character/guardian. By doing this, the players will have co-op campaigns but with individual experiences. Making that each player lives and experiment different moments according to his/her class picked guardian, but also reunite the players in certain key events of the main argumental line, a co-op in high transcendence missions and a single player for personal missions of the player’s guardian character. The “loner” player will be able to play three different campaigns, with each battle style of the three guardian’s classes and his/her respective side of the story, being also able to re-play at least once each of them because they would have little but interesting variations. In the other hand, the social player will have a unique experience, changing from epic collaborations to finding himself alone, having to figure it out to finally share arms again with his team mates in a heavy resistance or epic assault. Doing this with friends or with people linked temporally for the occasion. This also means that each player would have a different experience if the players play the campaign solo with the backup of the A.I or with other players. Because the A.I will be very capable but also very defensive, watching your back and letting you go making a mess of the fallen. But this scenario will be totally different with other actual players in your team that are making his own choices and play in his own way. This would imply some different levels of difficulty of course. PLAYABLE DETAILS OF THE STORY - As a player you will be able to use your ship in two levels of the campaign. Another two with complete or dominant use of the Sparrow. - Some event of Iron Banner inside the campaign, making some number of awesome NPCs that would be competing with the player in this event, making the excuse that this event test the level of the guardians, like a nivelation ritual. - Playing the first contact with the Traveler. - Co-op missions with the one-horn guardian and the guardian of the Iron Banner. - A level with the Cryptarc, wich explains in depth the concept of Engrams. - A new villain who is easy to empathize to, that explains the conflict that they have with the Traveler and his people. - Showing the enemies that are being obligated to battle by the Darkness and wich of them are in a conflict posture since before the arrive of this antagonist force. - Each playable character of the campaign will began as a civil who aspires to being a guardian, so the player can play to deserve being named a guardian and be able to role one. A.I - The enemies would have a great detection and precision “system”, a higher ratio to see the player and would be capable to appropriately cover from fire. Making the whole game harder, almost like “Raid harder”. - The A.I of the teammates controled by the machine will be efficient but defensive, and deposits the leading role on the player. ADITIONS - Three or four complete sets of armor for each class of guardian. Also a relatively high number of weapons. - New spaceship’s designs. - A customization system for the spaceship. - A race mode for the Sparrows between players/guardians. Simplyfied but fun. - Making a large number of collectables for each world and put some of them in random areas and others in some specific ones. - A new skin and order to the inventory/player’s screen. - In the Crucible battles the re-spawn animation would be a ghost reviving the player. - New ghost’s functions. - Some of these new functions for the ghosts could be used in PvP, as habilities that are temporal advantages by being charged or being given somehow. It could be, for an example, using the ghost as “throwable object” in the direction that the player is going so it can scan nearvy movement, that identifies hostile units through walls and surfaces. So in PvP would notice other players, making those surprise encounters – that use to end with the quickest and more effective one winning – to become tight and tense shootings. Could also have the passive hability to let you know when someone will arrive from your back, making preassure in the player in situations when is being attacked by both fronts or giving the oportunity to prepare himself/herself, intentionally making the combats among players take place in semi-equal conditions and making that they give a thrilling show to themselves. - A training system that consist in a horde mode with co-op available. This mode can be used in the story as one of the test to overcome in the road to become a guardian for these three characters, for the player(s) themselves. Once that they achieve this level they will be able to play it with other players. Finnancial stuff I repeat, i love Destiny, but the franchise has lost the trust of the public, and surely is truth that is not a 100% reliable and objective by the public, but it is something to recover, its crucial. Is these public the one that has to receive a correct message, to gain the trust by making a quality expansion and giving it to the players for free. Yes, for free, I know that im way out of my place (actually you can say that since the beginning of this document) but this action can be seeing as an invest, one that makes the future look brighter for this incredible universe you have created.
