What elemental power do you want?

Come up with an element that you want to be put in an exotic and turned into a subclass. There are no limits, just think of something. [spoiler]For those that care (no one), I would like to have a “Nature” subclass [/spoiler] Most popular suggestions from the community so far: Ice/Cryo Darkness Poison Salt 😏 Heart/Captain Planet Wind Edit: well, seems like hive are getting a cryo subclass

  • The current three elements are based of 3 of the 4 fundamental forces of the universe. Solar=Strong nuclear force(Nuclear fusion... the thing the sun do) Arc=Electromagnetism (obviously) Void=Gravity(all void supers -except sentinel, but including bubble- all revolve around binding things together with force) It would seem very probable that the 4th element would be the final fundamental force, Weak Nuclear Force, otherwise known as nuclear fission. Nuclear fission would probably tie best into a radiation-esk element that could be based around AoE and/or tainting victims. Those people wanting a Thorn subclass were actually on to something

    Venom subclass: Top tree: way of the snake Hunter super top tree: gain dual poison knives (right click) target the enemy and slice the enemy until the super runs out or enemy dies (left click) slices the enemy Melee top tree: spray venom out of your wrist Top tree passive ability: replaces dodge with vandal's run I haven't came up with the grenades or bottom tree

    Neutron or Atom, green subclass Hunters can summon a sword and kunaii, dodge is replaced by blink. Melee ability: sword dash Blink through an opponent while damaging him with your blade, making them lose sight Melee override: enhanced sword dash Hold the melee button to drastically increase your damage output and dash distance at the cost of some super energy. Can be used multiple times in a row. Grenades: Binding grenade: slows enemies while doing poison damage in an AOE Kunaii: throw three kunaii at your enemies with random effects( blinded, DOT etc.) Poison smoke bomb: poisons enemies, while making you invisible Passive: Killing poisoned enemies recharges melee ability, blinking poisons nearby enemies Super ability: You summon a sword consisting of radioactive particles to quickly strike enemies. Non-lethal hits increase damage output. Recharges grenades and improves them. Dodging can be used airborne and has a increased charge rate Also, improved jumping and adds wal-climbing/walking Warlock: ...coming soon if you guys like it...

        • Given any power I would have to go with control over time. That way maybe my guardian could rewind time to a period when playing Destiny was much more fun than what it is now.

          • So me and a friend have been thinking of ideas for sub classes for fun and wanted to share and see if anyone else had some cool ideas. Wind element : Titan: Storm wielder : Warlock: Wind rider: Hunter:Air runner: Grenades: Gust push: A grenade that releases a strong push in the direction thrown. Air lash: A grenade that shoots arcs of wind in all directions slicing near by enemies. Implosion: A grenade that deals no damage but pulls all near by enemies to the impact sight. Supers: Titan: Raging Wind: Sticks him arms out and starts to spin forming a damaging tornado that slowly pulls in enemies and does damages them as long as they are close enough. (note) your movement speed would be slow while spinning. Warlock: Violent Storm: Places a vortex a slicing wind a crosshair location and can be controlled from a distance. Hunter: Air dash: this will allow you to move a bit faster and to attack you dash a set distance in front of you and any enemies that in between the area of the start of the dash and the end will take damage. Thats all I have for now I will post more some other time leave some comments and tell me you ideas for new sub classes and abilities.

            • So I was thinking about subclasses again and I was think about an Geo subclass. Geo subclass: Titan: Boulder breaker. Warlock: Geomancer Hunter: Planet diver Grenades: Shatter grenade: after thrown it will stick to any surface for a second or two and detonates into a shower of spikes. Quick sink trap: thrown a radial sand trap that will sink any enemy that steps on it for a few seconds. magnetic field: a thrown field that will catch bullets shot at it and will launch all caught shot out when it runs out. Supers: Titan: Earth crusher: this attack is similar to fist of havoc with double the range, by punching the ground making large impact that shrapnel shoots out randomly and damages within the AOE but can only be use once and and cant move once it is started. Warlock: Geomancy: once activated you will have rocks or metal orbit around you you can launch parts of the debris to do damage or use them as a shield. Hunter: Planet diver: once activated you are able to dive below the surface and jump out for damaging sneak attacks people would be able to see where you are but not hit you with super would act similar to golden gun in the way that it drains every attack is like a shot draining your timer faster.

              • I mean really Arc, solar, and void aren't strictly powered by light. "Holy" or even -blam!-ing "Light" would be perfect elemental additions. It would make sense that when the enemies portraying the Darkness become more prevelant that Holy energy would be its bane.

                It would be Telekinetic for me, and I'd want it for my Hunter. Lay waste to 4 or 5 enemies and then launch them at a boss, would be nice. It's not elemental but I don't care.

                  • Think the elements are locked and tied down lore wise to revolve around Light Fire generates Light Electricity generates Light Dark matter absorbs distorts and harnesses Light The only way we may see a new element is if it is exclusive to weapons. Cryo damage is most likely.

                      • Maybe just expand the current elements by giving them variants, or opposites. Solar subclasses could get a cryo variant. Maybe a magnetic one for arc subclasses, and void classes maybe a dark or light variant. They could even just be new skill nodes on the existing subclasses
