I remember doing Omnigul back in D1 100 times a day to get a grasp of malok. And guess what I’m doing these days. [spoiler]I’ll give you a hint, it has nothing to do with D2[/spoiler]

You were gridning for perfect roll I was grinding just to get the gun in D2 and also grasp was obtained trough strikes aswell so I dont need to have two guys with me

Well, since there are no random rolls, what is the difference? The grind should be in this game instead of the hand-outs on every corner. Its an mmo-rpg for God sake.

Then reduce the drops like an MMO. I’ve had days where I did three strikes and ended up with 7 or 8 legendaries. That’s an insane drop rate.

I agree. They should be reduced. Getting new gear to drop should be something special. They’ve tried to make a hybrid loot/shooter/mmo style game, and so far have done a good job. We’re in the growing pangs of getting to the next level, so we need to make sure we give the right feedback so we get what we’re looking for in the next generation of the game. Just simply adding random rolls doesn’t do much, but adding more story elements and side quests would do so much more for us.

The game wasn’t perfect but it was fun and you actually had something to play for. With D2, they’ve did a terrible job. All they had to do was take D1 and add the little quality of life things. Make up a good story that actually fits the already existing lore and come up with some good ideas for new loot. They didn’t and now almost everybody left. And Yo call that doing a good job?

They reengineered the game for next gen systems and left behind the previous gen consoles, and added PC play. If you expected the same game, that’s your fault for expecting the same game. Statements like yours seriously make me wonder if you all even think about anything more than two seconds in front of your faces.

Excuse me for expecting a [b]sequel[/b] to build on what they already had, and add to that. You act like bungie told us in advance that they were going to dumb down almost every aspect of this game. No decent events, no decent loot and a big focus on micro transactions is what we got, and you say i should have known better? GTFO! That is not what the advertisements said when they asked me to pre order. The fact that you even say this just blows my mind. If i wanted a hollow FPS i would have bought COD.

It was exactly what we have. I keep forgetting there’s more than three crucible maps.

They did that for the grinders when Destiny 1 was coming to an end, remember? They made all the guns garbage and made it so you had to grind for new versions... No thanks.
