I encourage you to provide feedback about bugs and issues you find with the fireteam feature. We deliberately released it before it was completely done in order to ensure players could provide feedback on it as we develop it. Just like the game, we are trying to be more transparent and responsive in how features are developed, and involving you in the process of shaping them is important in achieving that goal. The fireteam feature's main advantage over the old recruitment mechanism is that it can issue game invites for console players. It is, however, missing localization and chat support (along with an Android implementation). Until such time as it is finished, the old way of recruitment will still exist, though.
