Synthoceps are just a worse version of Ophidian aspects for warlock. So why the hate for 1 exotic that is not even as good as another exotic that does very similar things with extra perks that crush synthoceps.

The melee range on ophidian aspects and synthocepts is not the same. Please try again with that bullshit argument
-
It's not the same, but it's close. It's .5m less and you have quick draw on EVERY GUN. synthoceps is only good for 1 playstyle. Ophidian is literally the best exotic for every playstyle pve or pvp.
-
Video proof of only .5m? And that's enough to lose an engagement in PvP. You also get extra damage if multiple enemies are around you making melee a 2-hit kill

Ok so you do have a .5m advantage that still could be the difference in winning or losing an engagement. They should be on par. No reason for them not to be
-
You could lose a one on one engagement, but honestly the fast reload and quickdraw is worth the trade in my opinion. It is so much more useful in day to day pvp. It really depends on your playstyle but I think that Ophidian fits the meta way better.

I play pretty aggressive more baity than anything. And I mean using myself as bait. Pop a couple shot back away cause I might be one shot float a doorway or pop em with some power if they push. That kinda stuff. I just feel at a large disadvantage when it comes to sentinel titans really. That's about it
-
Yeah it feels greater on sentinel than anything. The overshield is really strong
-
Not to mention you can regen health on a melee kill
-
Yeah it does gel really well with sentinel but I think aspects is stronger for any other class
-
I wish the ophidians improved vampiric abilities like they did in D1. Maybe a little longer on my devour so I can get back across the map with it lol
-
I'd much rather have quick draw and slightly less melee range (I main warlock and I play a lot of titan as well using both of these exotics exclusively so I have a huge amount of experience with both of them).
