Your first mistake was being that close to a titan... That's just a bad idea overall.

Yeah might be, but that's only because of Synthoceps. See the problem?
-
It might be because I just haven’t actually sat down and played crucible since January or so. For all I know you could be right, but in D1 a shotgun countered a sniper and vice versa. I’m just saying there’s usually a solution to each aggressive play style.

You are correct, most playstyles are counterable. However pretty much all top tier players (at least on consoles, don't know about PC meta) use a burst sidearm or an SMG in their loadouts and the single most efficient way to win 1v1 close range engagements is weakening the enemy and finishing them off with a melee. However Synthoceps literally almost double the melee distance. People said Thunderstrike (Stormcaller melee) was too powerful in D1 because of its range. Well now Titans have that same range without any cooldown. See my point? On top of that there are pretty much no other exotics that give the same kind of game changing effect in D2. Some people say other exotics should be buffed, but I personally disagree. That is more of a matter of opinion though.
-
Even before D2 it was a bad idea. If you saw a titan charging at you it meant he was going to slam.
-
That's a whole different topic. When Titan charges, then one must back pedal and shoot the guy. However when one pushes a Titan that's irrelevant, because shoulder charge must be, well, charged, as you surely know.
-
All you have to do either way is back peddle. Look at their movement patters, and learn from it. If you keep dying to the synthoceps it's your own fault.
-
I can play the game very well. That's why I can say that Synthoceps are too powerful. Most of my 2,5-3 KD friends agree, so maybe some average Joe shouldn't come tell me I can't play well enough.
-
Well maybe if you were good enough you could avoid a titan or two. So maybe some average tryhard so learn how to try harder.

If every single player better than me had no problems with Synthoceps's melee range, it would be around 0,05% of the players. Considering the fact that half of the accounts above me are stat farmers, that leaves only a handful of players in the world, but whatever I guess.
