Given that a multimillion dollar company hasnt been able ( or dont want to ) implement a way to mass delete shaders, a function that already is implemented, i think that Bungie will need dark magic and a blood ritual to fix iron banner. edit: typo

  • Oh yeah. I honestly did not consider the glimer cap. But actually i think nobody will really care. Like if you are capped at 99999 glimmer or w/e you just loose whatever glimmer you may have gained. Its not something new. Its like they actually dont want to fix this or maybe they have other priotities which i hope so lol.

It's definitely not new. I can dismantle armor and weapons all day long while at Glimmer cap and not even notice. I am not really sure what the deal is here.

  • My theory and what i have being talking with my friends is that bungie has allocated its "better" resources in terms of manpower or whatever on D3 in order to fullfill certain unknown agreemnts with Activision. Hence they cant focus on: 1) fixing simple nor complex issues 2) adding new content (free) since D2 business case pretty much milks out even basic things like shaders, as we where discussing minutes ago, reskins, and even D1 content. Its...disgusting, in my opinion at least. 3) properly balancing, playtesting as bungie claim they do. Obviously they are very bad at it. Other things i have considered is that logical solutions such as reverting ttk back at how it was on average at D1 or the 4v4 nonsense cant be implemented because D2 is pretty much build upon this competitive, flanking , esports dream. In an attemp to monetize the franchise even further. Like i cant think of no other reasons other than: 1) making D2 more like D1 or just..fun as its own will hurt some financial expectation 2) they are focused on D3 and dedicating time to D2 will again hurt some financial expectation or contractual. or both What do you think guardian?

They absolutely have most of their resources on D3 and the Fall Expansion. Those are the obligations. The entire Destiny cycle is already a year behind the original schedule, so Actividion will avoid any more delays (part of the problem). Right now, the Live Team are the ones that are trying to pick up the pieces for D2, and they are only a small portion of the company.

  • True that. The Fall Expansion. Forgot about that. Sigh...now it seems rumble is still 8 v 8. I thought cozmo stated it was going to be 6 v 6.

  • He did say that, but I worry it might have been a misunderstanding. In the 4/5 TWaB, theyvsaid "next time you see Rumble", bit that was befor Cozmo announced the issue they found with IB. So they are putting Rumble there for now, but Cozmo may have assumed that meant Rumble was ready now. Not sure. But yeah, he did say it'll be 6-player Rumble this week.

  • Uhhhh, yeah, math isn't the hard part here. What do you do with that glimmer value you have stored if that value cannot fit into where it needs to be deposited due to a limit? They should just remove Glimmer from Shader Dismantle. Then all they have to worry about is Bright Dust, which doesn't have a cap.
