For 3 years people tried giving bungie constructive feedback, and well, I don't need to tell you how that ended, and D2 was the last straw, people where patient, and bungie did not change, so I really don't blame people letting out their anger at bungie after everything that has happened.

  • Excusing anger is not my cup of tea. I can't think of many situations that it gets the job done better than methodical and informative debate/feedback. I might have to blame the hostility when Bungie unwittingly concludes that the community is so toxic, they lose their passion for developing Destiny. The devs are human. Many seem to think this banter won't have negative consequences- only that it feels good and easy to poke a post. Over the years, constructive feedback has been taken into account. It's in the developers and investors best interest to deliver what the community wants. It's Bungie's responsibility to choose the right feedback. They did great on certain criteria, fell short of key expectations on others, and misjudged complaints ("the grind" = no more re-roles, for example). They do and will continue to take credit for this failing. It's the second game in a franchise that is mapping a new genre of game within the console market. I'll give them time to adjust because of that circumstance, bad game engine and all. If the developer's passion for Destiny never dies, the game will foster in due time. If that takes longer than the community wants, then that is unfortunate; considering the variety of games to release in the next few years, it's not that unfortunate. People can stoke the fire; I'll do my best to simmer the flame. Not because I disagree with what they are trying to convey. On the contrary, I want them to be heard. I just know what doesn't get placed in the feedback bin and what it takes to go straight to the top. However, it can be stated that often times angry post get a lot of attention, but it takes the civil voices suggesting the same argument within the post to assure it gets substantial consideration. Best of luck to the devs and my hopes reside with the community and the haters. 😉👍
