So...Arc buddy and longer ranged melee are only effective after a kill? Shoulder charge and throwing knife are no longer ohk. The rift took the benefits away from Titan bubble. Again, Warlocks are, and always will be, the one-all be-all class. Which means it requires less skill to master.

  • I do feel they shouldn’t have taken that from the Titan. Along with many other things. It’s an odd form of events that took place at Bungie to get us to where we are today. Some of the changes to the game were baffling to me which tells me they didn’t understand her (Destiny). They had their own agenda for the game and it was entirely different from the player base. A paradoxical happening.

There are literally no high skilled players who use warlock arc subclass. By the time the arc soul fires the gun fight is already over. The casting time for rift leaves you open for too long for attack to make it even worth using as anything but a support ability. To stay so immobile in one spot is too risky. And the melee range you speak of is no further than other classes melee lunge and also it is kept in check by it being the slowest swinging melee.

If you really think Warlocks are so useless then you really have no argument. I main a Hunter, but I still acknowledge that it takes skill to be effective. Titans are too slow for my taste, but I know they can be effective when in the right hands. Look, I'm by no means an expert, but compare the neutral game and the supers of all classes in D1 and D2 and Warlock comes out on top. Gunskill notwithstanding.

Every class should be viable with their own unique skillset and have both a neutral game and a gun game for varietal reasons. Warlocks are highly misrepresented by Bungie. People just aren’t understanding that class fully because Bungie doesn’t understand it. They cause this confusion on the player base when they lack vision, inspiration, direction, dedication, heart, and passion for the game in general and in equal measure.

  • None of the classes are understood by Bungie then. Warlocks in D1 could have just as much armor if not more than Titans and Titans were faster than Hunters. Now both Titans and Warlocks move faster than Hunters.

  • Like I said confusing to us as players. It’s all twisted up. I mean I think Bungie is super talented and smart they just need an outsider’s perspective with a little more of a tough-loving guidance on support, and I hope someone delivers that for them at the summit.

  • Lol never said useless. But the skill that it takes to be successful with a warlock is not so straight forward as it is with hunters or titans. Go ahead compare supers. Warlocks. Nova bomb either used in "panic" or held for the perfect multi kill scenario. They only have one chance to get it right. But let's not forget you can actually kill yourself with it. Name another class that can kill itself with their own super. Sunsinger let's face it after the simplistic selfres what threat does it really pose. Dawn blade tracking swords? With no beneficial effect like hammers. They are easily shut down. Storm caller are the only actual easy mode super warlocks have. Hunters, golden gun multi shot, long range, high aim assist. A long with being able to get collateral kills from explosions. Arc staff, roaming, the melee attack does not even have to hit you to kill you. Dodge makes it almost impossible to shoot. Tether possibly the most underrated super in the game. It is not supposed to be used in a panic but trap players and supers. It's my personal favorite of the hunters supers. Titans, all their supers are easy mode panic, long range, or multi purpose. but because they are so easy to use they have a lot of beginners or noonish players who choose the class.
