Really, but i bet they invited Triplewreck, remember him. The i hate playing sweaty (since pubstomping makes him look like a better player ) streamer that started that nonsense, that all of his viewers took and ran with.
Or the i hate stickies rant, sure stickies were a nuisance, but not for the ohk, because of the damn tracking.
Most of these streamers, and i hate to say it, but these are mainly pvp focused " content creators " have a vested financial interest to have the game play a certain way thats advantageous to their financial well being.
I would take kelly green and lethal viper (two opposite end of the spectrum forum users ) over someone who has a financial agenda in their motives to base game changes on rather than someone who plays the game for entertainment
Most of these streamers, and i hate to say it, but these are mainly pvp focused " content creators " have a vested financial interest to have the game play a certain way thats advantageous to their financial well being.
Unfortunately some of these streamers/content creators have shit all twisted up when it comes to Destiny and the player base as a whole. They think a change will benefit them financially but here’s where it gets trickier. Because they don’t understand the player base holistically or as a whole, they get the changes wrong. They push the agenda, followers latch onto the agenda then Bungie acts. Then in retrospect the followers hate Bungie, hate content creators, and hate themselves. In doing all this it pushes more and more players out of the game indirectly. This isn’t their (content creators’) motives BUT it’s because of their limited understanding of the bigger picture and all the little details that make up that bigger picture that they often only get shit half correct or mostly incorrect. The reason I know this is because of years of research into our modern culture and societal constructs and those include the content creator demographic. The world is ever changing, in fact it is having a bit of a purge right now remaking herself. No I don’t believe in new age religion either.

I agree up to the point of you suggesting those 2 forum members. Lethalviper is nothing. She/He's a pointless troll. You don't reward idiots like that. If he/she had anything constructive to say then may be, but you will read thread after thread by him/her criticising things that haven't actually happened. So no. Trolls get blocked, not a pat on the back.

Lol no prob, as i said i threw those 2 out there as examples of two forum users who are on opposite ends of the player spectrum, did not specifically mean them, just an example of the wide range thats available

Edited by lCertifiedl: 4/6/2018 9:30:06 AMAtlest they have something constructive to say, weather they benefit financially or not. Viper and Kelly just spout crap all over the forum. While I don't like all streamers if the game is poor it's hits them harder, so they have an active interest in making the game better, I think it's a good idea personally to get some good feedback. Everyone just jumps on the hate bandwagon because it's the thing to do by the looks of it, not that I don't agree the game is stale but there is a way to provide feedback.

My point is, this smacks of a p.r grab, with streamers comes free propaganda and the streams viewers. Streamers have a vested interest in having the game play a certain way that benefits their stream. KG and LV were just examples i threw out there, why not have dmg and cozmo scour the forums for average players that have consistently posted constructive ideas and thoughts on the game and the problems it has. Asking only " content creators " looks like they just want to not have to dig deeper into their ad budget instead of actually wanting to improve the game. Streamers want new subscribers the average person wants a fun game

Yeah course it's a PR stunt, I don't disagree with you. But my point being constructive criticism is useful whoever it's comes from, weather that's the average player off the forum or a streamer. Both have an interest in making the game better which really is what is fans want. The game isn't in a great state ATM but think it's better than doing nothing. Appreciate the actual discussion though as things like these turn bad pretty quickly on these forums.

Same here, doesn't have to be harsh at all, and this is exactly the point I'm trying to make. There are people here who just want a better game for purely love of the game. No agenda, no ulterior motives, no financial interests. Just people that are level headed, constructive and able to offer up concise pros and cons. Me personally, i would put more faith into people like that than someone who, in the back of their minds has an agenda " lets get them to change snipers in this direction, my viewers would love this". Thats it, just want it approached from an unbiased viewpoint if any changes are implemented
