Horse manure. They ripped us off. They knew it was a weak game. They marketed it very well. Bungie have a saying, “we make games we want to play”... they disregarded their core beliefs and disregarded their loyal fans to for a money grab. Bungie have also been saying they want Destiny to me more than a game, they want it to be peoples hobby. Peoples main activity next to work and family should be taken seriously. Cmon man! The old Bungie would hate what they’ve done. Market research, focus group feedback, risk averse for broad player base = watered down and spoon fed mediocrity. They know it. They neutered themselves and once that happens balls can’t be reattached. You should grow some.

I mean there are still players that enjoy the game so they could very well be in that group. That being said, they didn't rip you off, they just didn't deliver what was expected. And you're right, the old bungie was totally different but old bungie was way smaller too. Unfortunately when companies become so large and they start trading in the stock market they dumb down products because all they seek is to please stakeholders. I'm. It defending their actions, I'm just giving perspective and answers as to why they did what they did. I'll also say that, other than taking away core features like PvP modes, player selection, etc etc, they did make changes the community asked for- people hated random rolls in d1, people complained that exotics were too hard to get, that PvP was dominated by supers and one hit kills, that if you weren't a hardcore player (one that had the time to play 40 hours a week) you'd be at a disadvantage, iron banner was too elitist, raids were so difficult that it was almost impossible to get one done if you weren't super hardcore. This is what we got. The community is right in one thing though, they had raw numbers and could see what players actually engaged in and could have left those elements in the game. I'm sure they'll fix most of the issues but people need to move on and try other games. When bungie fixes it then come back and see if it fits. If not, then you'll have good memories.

  • I know, i paid full price for the game and season pass. I was dissapointed, i was angry, check my past activity if you want to see me at my worst, but i also learned that is all this really worth it? Look at it like this, There are people sleeping rough on your streets. But the only thing that keeps you awake at night is how you paid less than a days wage, got more than a day's play, a bad cinema experience would get for 1/4 of the price an hour of dissapointment. All due respect, Think you just need to re-evaluate what is worth worrying about. But rest assured, i have a nice set of jewells on my crown. ;)

  • Fair enough. Passion for Bungie’s games shouldn’t be easily extinguished. It’s nearly burnt out for me. Gaming in general is now corporate and meaningless. I thought Bungie was different. They are not. Cheers to your jewels.

  • What If you pay a good amount of money for Ribeye steak, mashed sweet potatoes, and broccoli, but get Fried Porkchop, cauliflower, and green beans instead? Would you be pissed?

Would you be pissed?
you miss the point...yeah, you'd be pissed. you'd call the manager and at least try to get a free meal, post negative feedback, and never recommend the place whenever it comes up in any conversation. would you, however, go back to the restaurant everyday and talk shit to all the customers that like the food and insult the employees? i'm sure you wouldn't because you move on with life...also because most people that act all big and tough on this forum would never speak up to a medium sized beta male in public, let alone a full on alpha

  •
i know they'll continue because immaturity, entitlement, and lack of identity still exist within the community...now let's see those replies
Thought I told you to shuddup. Did you just describe yourself? Judging by your last couple of replies, yes. Did you compare video games to restaurants?
dumb
Did you imply that you're beta, possibly alpha?
you're neither
Why are you talking about alpha males anyway? This isn't your all men's dating site. Anyway, we're still talking about Destiny right? D2 sucks. It hurt a lot to get to that point because the game became a part of people's lives whether you think that's a waste or not. Like the way I think people who watch sports are stupid. Then they let those fans down who had time and money invested and did it in the most shady way. I don't play Destiny or d2 anymore but still hold strong and valid opinions of the franchise which I'll never apologize for. Deal wittit.

not my fault you don't understand the analogy, or what their purpose is for that matter. i didn't imply i was neither alpha nor beta. what i said is that in real life people like you would never talk this way to anyone, even me, the guy you're sure isn't neither alpha or beta...you act like a tough guy and forget to use logic. thanks for proving my points

(u realize that right?) 3. You have to make a point to prove a point. 4. Logic would be for the guy who's above all this immaturity and self serving to bow out, yet, here you are participating. 5. You got a problem with my diss list say it to my face!

  • 1. it does apply...customer satisfaction and feedback (same shit) 2. you don't understand the difference between imply and implicate but to humor your ignorance i didn't IMPLY i'm neither, just that whatever rank you'd have me be in you'd still refrain from talking to me this way in real life 3. my point is (again since you don't understand) that you complain about a product you bought that didn't deliver as advertised once, not repeatedly in a forum. 4. this i'll give you, but i had to call out all the people that are just following the bandwagon and not moving on and creating a toxic environment in the forums

You claimed people don't have an identity yet you bite my style with a list. Strike 1 Implicate and imply are synonymous. You don't like my usage? Oh well, doesn't make it wrong. So try again cuz that jab was the equivalent of an old lady hitting me with her purse. Strike 2. To the point. This isn't 1 person getting poor service at a single meal, then complaining repeatedly. This is millions of people getting ripped off by a single product. So like I said, it doesn't apply. If it did, who are you to say how many times people are "allowed" to complain. Besides they are completely different industries. Apples and oranges. Strike 3.
you're out
Gimme the mic so I can take it away! You think I wouldn't say this in person? You're as dumb as I made you look *drops mic*

Though they have similar meanings they are used within completely different contexts and are never used interchangeably. And to my analogy, it is the same. They didn't swindle you out of your money. They just sold a product people didn't like. So unless you have grounds for a class action you're doing exactly what my analogy states. And it's funny you dropped the mic, you haven't even understood what's going on

  • I suggest you read my comments thoroughly before responding. There are a lot of layers you might miss if you just skim and I can tell you're very proud of yourself so we wouldn't want you to look stupid (again). You can keep d2, I see you still play it. That makes me laugh and now I understand why you get so upset when people accurately describe it as what it really is... A trash cash grab. It's not only a disliked product, it's not as advertised, and that is a problem. You can try all the analogies (that don't hold water) you want. Doesn't change the fact. I like to come on the forum and mess with people like you. It's funny to see you kids pull out your best dress to try and slow me down. The same way I do on Xbox live. The same way I do with people in the streets. It's my obligation to call out stupidity and you wanna mince words? Pathetic, you're not on my level. The fact that you still play and defend d2 shows what kind of person you are, you put it perfectly. Entitled, with no identity and that's why you like d2. Also why you're no match for me in an argument. Anything you say, I've heard it before but you've never come up against the Swza. Go on now, don't you have something mature to tend to? Why do you keep getting baited aaaaaand
hooked
Consider my words a courtesy cuz you're already out. ;)

  • It's funny. Now you resort to ad hominem retorts. No arguments other than how lame I am because I like a game you and many others don't. You think you win. That's fine, think you've won. I do like the game with all its flaws and it is irritating to see people come here and complain non stop about something they claim they despise. What if people actually did that in actual society. The world would be better, but no, it's a bunch of kids that need validation in social media that follow a herd no questions asked.

  • *Yaaawwn* Wrong on so many accounts. Except the part where you call yourself lame. That I do agree with. I think I heard a toilet
flush
I know your first instinct will be to respond, blandly and boringly, again. Save yourself the time and just put an old shoe on the keyboard, it'll be indistinguishable from your(lame)self.

  • Hey everyday Bungie Hut is promising new and better food... If they stop it, if they're honest and say they make the food the way they want to make the food, people will leave. People will like the food and stay, others go to other restaurants. Bungie Express don't want that.
