As much as I would love this, how would it work with the new system Bungie created? Would they add both the kinetic and Energy weapons into 1 "Primary" slot? In D1, Bungie drifted away from elemental primaries, doing this, would go against what they wanted to get rid of. Plus, if that's the case, who's not going to use an elemental primary? PvE would, in away, become a little easier. Unless they revert the shield system back to what it was in D1, where the non-matching element is resisted, having a Sniper/Fusion, a Rocket AND an elemental primary will melt any enemy with a shield.
