I noticed that the sentinel is suffering from a lack of duration much like the dawnblade. They already announced plans to increase dawnblade's super duration, but what about the sentinel? You activate it, slap a few enemies around and it's over almost immediately. It needs more time and less energy consumption when swinging.

I wish Sentinel also had a sword with it!

They really just really need to bring back the bubble to the good old days of blessings and weapons of light

Edited by Vegalink: 3/24/2018 5:29:45 PMBig thing I would say is use the block, shield throw and aerial shield bash, but especially the block and shield throw. Sentinel just plays crappy if you try to use it like a striker or sunbreaker.

What i would like to know bungie, while in sentinel super, when i throw the shield at someone and it hits them, shouldn't it be a kill?? I'm sick of seeing 152 damage on someone and they don't frickin die. Seriously wtf??? Not just on the throwing shield either but also the shoulder bash. Some clarification would be great please

I don’t use the Sentinel sub class enough to collaborate your claims but I think you might be on to something. Off the top of my head, I feel as if get more mileage out of the Striker and Sunbreaker supers.

As a sentinel main I think they buffed the movement speed so you wouldn't have to use your attacks to move faster. Throwing a shield doesnt use any super energy so doom fang pauldrons works pretty great with it. Every shield swing uses energy though, even if you arent hitting anything. So they buffed the movement to save you energy.

Most luck I’ve had with Sentinel was with the DoomFang arms and the bottom tree build where you get super energy from being surrounded. Next, equip an SMG or Sword and just rush in and smoke stuff. This is obvs a PVE build but you get your super a LOT faster. Kinda crazy, and the arms give you another shield or two to toss around

I loved Sentinel for the first month of Destiny, now I never use it. Striker and SUNBREAKER are too good.

Sentinel i never use.

In pve, yes. Also the striker.
