Seems like someone wasn't around for vanilla D1 where it was just as dreary and dried up of content just as quickly.

Lol, VOG, good gear, things to grind for, fun crucible. Right exactly the same
-
Yes the gear in both in the current state of the game was "good" and the raid quality is the same. Oh and Crucible is just as garbage. Also they both have things to do, I'd dare to say D2 has more to do than D1 did at the current state.

You must visit dreamland often. Cause you're 100% wrong

Ok, have not looked up your stats, but for someone, who was actually around for D1. Iam surprised, Really! That you are defending the fact that bungos so called “sequel” after such a long learning curve. “Decided to, basically reset all that hard earned knowledge back to what it was, in D1. According to your post, “dreary”. For what ever theories that are buzzing in the “salty community” right now. I personally, am a part of the procentage, that believes in the theory about the fact of bungie ( pre activision) autually having content, but cheap ass engine. That according to the theory Can not handle “too much at one time” (over simplified) because bungo chooses not to invest in Its selv. By upgrading from the 1900’s. On that 7 sentence off note. Can not understand, how you are fine With Them ( Them, in this context, being bungie). Mind you right under our noises, making roadmaps, updates, patches, “promises” and fixes. Slowly trying to drip feed US, the playerbase/community the content back. That we allready payed for once! Back in D1’s life cycle. Bungie promised US/me an adventure. An adventure, where we/I would explore new worlds, and With each encounter, gain experience, and slowly growing With Our/my character/s. By the start of D2, I at least, expected I would be met, With a scenario. Where I would begin the road, towards the next evolutionary step of my Awoken Sunsinger, becoming a Demi God. At this time, I expected my Warlock to have progressed to the point, were casting a healing rift, selvres, full on Sunbreaker madness overshield double last long solar nades would be possible. I did How ever not expect to reunite with my Dear Warlock in a state that has stripped him from either of the befor mentioned subclass abilities. For someone who mained a Warlock (just in case you had not caught on to that fact yet) I feel, correction felt (honestly dont remember the last time I played D2) that my Warlock had seriously regressed and not progressed. FYI, I am allways to be found on D1 when Any of the two Mayhem modes come in to rotation. edit: rantings from an OG D1 veteran player, who still remembers. The time for reckoning draws near.

Considering D1 was turned into what it was by a different team than the ones who made D2 (they started making D2 around the launch of D1) doesn't help with the loss of all the quality of life changes we got in D1. Kind of like how they're already working on D3 while also still having a smaller team do D2 updates and DLC.

Defending a game is not even remotely the same as reminding people not to wear rose-tinted glasses. Kind of a misdirected rant.

I hope you can invest in your grammar. Jesus Christ.

1. Danish, so english not being my first language covers that part of your comment. 2. Just wanted my 2 cents worth of steaming salt on the state of Destiny, despite my poor, mind you , english grammar.

I've actually stuck around 2 months longer for D2 than I did 1.

You're right, but when I stumbled onto D1, and D2 I realized the potential this game holds and the records it could break.
