I just ran into a pair of dirtbags who had power ammo from the beginning of the match through the end. Not once did I see available power ammo anywhere. Every 45 seconds I was killed by sword or Wardcliff Coil. The game was unbearably unfun.
The problem is that the Crucible is designed such that people can pull this off. If you memorize the map and the timings of the drops, you can own them. I don't want to have to have a degree in Destiny 2 Crucible to be competitive.
There are other ways to game the system "legally." I've seen teams own Distant Cliffs, appearing almost instantaneously all over the map, because they have worked out the perfect system. You can't even finish respawning before you are dead again they get so good at it. Crucible should be a test of skill, not memorization.
Just sharing a frustration, in hopes that somebody listens.

Funny they are increasing power weapon drops just like you asked
