Cataclysm Nova Bomb is erratically inconsistent. (PvE) Personally, I've narrowed it down to Tracking. The primary bomb is too good at finding a target. Due to its seeking ability, optimal placement in a group is hard to impossible. It will track the nearest target and prematurely explode. This keeps the largest explosion from hitting most targets. Then the 'seekers'... These seem to only seek half the time. Each bomb may have 2 of 4 that actually track a target. So if (when...) the aforementioned misguided Nova Bomb occurs, one can only expect two additional kills. My personal opinion is that Tracking in the Bomb itself be removed so it can be properly aimed. The slow-moving nonsense should be rectified accordingly. Perhaps the overly tracked Nova Bomb was added for those who just couldn't aim, but did it have to be added to the better (IMO) of the two perk-sets??
