Long before video games people liked to get together, have some snacks, and talk serious trash to each other over some small plastic pieces and some dice. So #offtopic, do you keep up with this tradition? Do you have a favorite game? What's your least favorite game? Do you try to cheat?
Have a great weekend!

Sentinels of the Multiverse will always live in my heart

I have a few little known card game favourites. Used to play chess as a kid but each game is a bit long for my liking. Trivia games are pretty good, except they get boring when you always win.

I play UNO

2 RepliesJust got finished last night playing Betrayal at House on the Hill with some new friends at their house for Game Night. Anything that has an element of luck and strategy, I’m absolutely down for.

Board games and card games are so much fun to play with people.
-
I have to choose the last one because I love them all, but I am in no way an addict

The classics, cards against humanity, and a few tcg/ccg games.

Exploding Kittens is the shit; especially when you get a 3+ nope spree.

Pretty much play board games every weekend with a group of friends. Things like Warhammer 40k Conquest, Star Wars: Imperial Assault, Cards Against Humanity, Warhammer Inquistor, Space Hulk, etc... Favourite has got to be Space Hulk when I'm playing as the genestealers. There's nothing like toying with someone with serious misdirection.

Bro, even with vidya games, board games will always reign supreme over all. Nothing beats a good, 5 hour game of monopoly, and ruining families.

Monopoly will always have a special place in my heart's furnace.

Perudo is great. Anyone ever played it?

1 ReplyAll classics, card games, with My Classic edition of Stratego added on top. Man, that game is the best.

6 RepliesCard games are so underrated. They set such a perfect atmosphere. Not much beats wasting time with some ancient card sets.

2 RepliesEdited by Darth Turtle: 3/10/2018 2:05:26 AMMostly the classics, got ticked to ride a few weeks ago and that’s pretty fun. As for cheating well my mother taught me how. She said that as long as I don’t get caught it’s all good. But there is a rarer game my family likes to play. It’s called sequence. The board is set up with 2 decks of cards printed on the face. You then pass cards out to everyone. Each person can put a token down on the spot of the card they have. Let’s say I have a King of Diamonds I can put that king of diamonds on either one of the 2 Kings of diamonds on the board. Using this the goal is for a team to make a sequence of 5. There’s also jacks. Now the red jacks have the ability to pick up a piece. Let say the enemy team has a piece that’s blocking me from making a sequence. What I’d do is use a red jack to remove that piece. The other jacks are wild cards which can be put anywhere on the board.
