More RPG, bigger differences between classes. Some irreversable options, in depth stats. Armour that makes you hard to kill, agility that makes you fast. Titan n warlock skating. Nuance, depth and scope... not just a bloody plain jane shooter.

  • ^This. Irreversable options - make decisions matter. Class-specific weapons, and tons of them. Make a Hunter's agility mean something, or a Titan's brute force, or a Warlock's healing/support/magic. Go full-blown ranged Assassin/Ranger, CQ Tank/Warrior, and mid-range Healer/Mage with it. Make entire weapon types that can only be used by certain classes - Hunters with Uriel's and Titans with Snipers make me sad. Single characters - make players commit to a damn decision for once, instead of flip-flopping and swapping to this week's meta. Wanna be a Warlock? Now you're a Warlock. Wanna change? Delete your Warlock and start over from scratch, gear included. Take the Crucible, and throw it out the window. Allow (optional) PvE arenas with PvP combat if people really need to fight each other while on Patrol, no whining, no nerfs. If you pick a fight and get destroyed, get kicked to orbit and make better decisions next time. Put a stronger emphasis on tactics and strategy, rather than the strongest weapons and abilities - sure, make power matter, but let's get rid of speed-running Strikes in 10 minutes, make those boss battles an actual accomplishment that takes time and teamwork. That'd at least be a start.
