I'm not sure how you can claim to sherpa people along with so few clears. Unless you're not talking about D2...in a D2 forum...using D2 raid situations as examples. And it shows in your wall of, in the main, incorrect points and musings. (I mean...would you take Eater tips from someone with only 8 clears that seroiusly!?!) Edit...my bad...I see now...it's the guide you use when looking for a carry, gotcha!

 •
I'm not sure how you can claim to sherpa people along with so few clears.
15 years of various game raiding experience is #1. The details are almost always very similar from a programming perspective too. The amount of overall recycled inputs/outputs and expectations is due to the programming atmospheres and capabilities secondly. Also, I don't sherpa all the time. I get on to help those who have little or zero experience about it. That and I don't twitch. Btw, my actual number is 19. I'm a titan main and like I already explained to the muted individual, I redid my titan for my nephew who wanted to start fresh while he was visiting. He's already back up to speed and running raids.
And it shows in your wall of, in the main, incorrect points and musings.
Sorry kiddo, but my points are based on multiple examples and varieties of gamers. I can simplify or expand on them though, so quote the area in question and ask for elaboration of more specific or more general.
(I mean...would you take Eater tips from someone with only 8 clears that seroiusly!?!)
You're clearly an early game raider. That's fine. Raiding is about details and results. You pull raid details and results will typically follow. My advice on that is thus: - Simplify the steps for the lower light raiders. - Know the damage parameters for the actual encounter. - Remember that most game change damage parameters for specific fights based on how many adds are in the arena. - Learning to gauge difficulties is easier if you first learn the CR (Challenge rating) system from D&D (this is called Dungeon Masters guide and is a quick google search away) OR numbering the amount of Major enemies in Destiny encounters to normal ones. The expectancy should be around 1:5 to 1:10 if on normal difficulties (300 rating. This is only a baseline however). - Knowing the rough damage numbers (statistician from WoW or Rift equivalent) for your team. - Know the roles. I do all of this in a single raid. After you do it enough times? It becomes muscle memory.

 • I'll be honest I'll just duck out here. I began a very long post breaking down virtually every bit of your initial post...and then realised there is no point trying to have a discussion wth your ilk. You start with BS, you end with BS, you reply with BS. Wax lyrical all you want, tell us how wonderful you are and how much planning you put in before each raid, encounter etc. Your raid report reads like utter shit, 19 clears, 8 clears, still garbage. It seems all this planning is either utterly worthless, or you just lack any form of basic skill whatsoever. And I say basic, because the normal leviathan and eater are incredibly easy, yet you struggle with them. You haven't even tried prestige either. TL/DR - you are too worthless for me to spend my time on.

 • Considering you and your buddy still don’t know raid mechanics? You go ahead and do you. Your muted and blocked on Xbox with an approval score well beneath the threshold I expect for teamwork acceptable players. But considering I already get most new players I Sherpa through? I’m satisfied. Rather then listen to someone try and explain why two void on void side damage means void runner needs to go void (your words, not mine) and lose out on a single damage cranium and they simply chose to meet at arc, with the two other runners, rather then simply stop at solar like you also miscalculated about. Again kiddo, you should listen to the guy who doesn’t game 24 hours a day, but has 15 years of raiding experience. And yes, you are expected to listen when I tell you to do something.

 • You can't sit here and state that you get most sherpa carries through when your recent clear success rate is 29% bro. I understand what youre trying to do with this post, but by no means and no way are you even close to considered an experienced raider in the eyes of d2 or anyone who plays d2. My suggestion, fully clear both raid and raid lair a) more b) more successfully before you sherpa. As you stated, you play mostly with a dedicated raid group, and if your dedicated raid group struggles to that extent in the normal raid then by no means should you "sherpa". Just because you know the fight mechanics doesn't mean you are automatically qualified to lead new ppl through the raid...just my two sense bro...

 • Just so you know? My recent raid experience failures is due to other gamers, on calus or Argos breaking two rules and claiming they are experienced: 1. Using autos to deal with red scions/not cross shooting. 2. Dying to a Minotaur because they are using solar weapons in void enemies at 335 light and still dying. Then they magically can’t jump correctly from platform to platform. Sorry kiddo, but I know when and where people mess up, rotate them to a new position when I am raid leader (most of the time not) and simply shrug my shoulders when another prestige run is ruined because 5 raiders can coordinate when teleported into the void, but almost always the 6th person has a bad mic, is not prepared with their load outs, and simply says they are only throne killers. But you go ahead and keep looking at my stats. Like I said before: I’m not someone who gets competitive about raiding in destiny. If you want to learn real raiding? Destiny is not the standard. Come join me on free to play Rift and see how long you last against lvl 52 enemies when max level is 50 for players. You WILL have the right equipment or be auto-booted.

 • Still with the sherpa talk and the attitude. Wow...I think you need to grow up boyo. You simply don't sherpa, not with your level of raid failure and misunderstanding.

 • You get people through all 8 times. You go girl!!! I have exactly 100 more Argos completions than you. Yep, it's me that doesn't know the mechanics. I lucked my way into so many clears. Gotcha.

 • Mfw someone boasting about Destiny raid clears. Maybe I should actually do Argos at some point so I can laugh at it 🤔 Then again, loot is shit and I don't raid for scraps, yo.

 • Yeah, both of us went in and dicked around for a bit. We concluded that we didn't really give a shit anymore though, Eater was not about to give us anything worth mentioning. Which is sad. Needs good gear again. Not gonna happen with how the game currently works though.

 • I don't care if you beat them legit, boosted them, raided where one person left to have check point and cheated the final stage of damage. I was there. You were there. Myself and two others told you to leave when you made your childish ultimatum. You have no say in the matter. We know what you are and you are definitely a crazy millennial who does not follow instructions very well. It's not my first rodeo with gamers like you and you will continue to be looked down upon primarily because you are NOT a team player. Sorry kiddo, but in other games with 10, 15, or 20 raiders? They don't hold onto you. You get booted after your stats reveal that "experienced" is failing to meet his quota. Go take a look at your loadouts next time too. If you don't like working with the raid team? Then siply say you aren't going to mesh and we'll get a 6th. You and your buddy were consistently doing things AND explaining things which did not fit that team mold. That's why I told you to do as I told you to do. You didn't, declared an ultimatum, and a total of 3 people told you to leave. We didn't want you and your buddy.

 • Now we see the nub of it. You like to be the boss. The know it all. The leader. Despite having a weak raid record, and frankly no real idea as to how to raid properly. Yet you claim to be a sherpa...lol.... Newsflash kid....NO competent raid group likes a person such as you. You join a serious raid team with that attitude and you're booted immediately. That's if you could even join a seroius raid team with such poor stats and understanding. If I called you pathetic, I would be being overly polite.

 • My condolences. Sadly we've all had raiders like him. Luckily, I've done enough to spot such wastes of time and roll with a decent group.

 • When I called him out about his lack of finishes (I have 108), he claimed the api wasn't counting his raids accurately since he deleted a character. Playing with him, I was surprised his completions were that high.

 • Although i don't know how many he claimed this is actually true. If you delete a character the progress made on that character is lost. In d1 i have full crota gear on my warlock but have yet to even attempt it.
