Geez, everyone taking the mods' thread-shifting so seriously. Did anyone stop to think that in order for their post to be shifted, a mod would have to have seen the post, read it, determined that it was feedback worth highlighting as such (rather than letting it drown amongst the true shitposts), and finally move it to literally the only place where Bungie would have a chance of acting upon it? Does anyone really think that Bungie are taking tips from smack-talk posts in the Crucible section? We've asked to be heard, Feedback is the best place for that. Being moved to Feedback isn't a punishment, it's an acknowledgement...

  • Deej once said to get the proper response we need to post in the recruitment forum, the RECRUITMENT forum, didn't say to provide feedback in the feedback forum, nooo, provide feedback in the recruitment forum, what?

  • Doesn't it make sense that that was just an error on his part?

  • No. That would require looking at the situation in a semi-rational and semi-adult fashion. Why? When it’s so much easier to whine, cry, and wrap ones self in victimhood??

  • Speaking of semi-rational and semi-adult discussions, this has been coming up in a bunch of conversations lately, so I started a thread here to gather some feedback on what may or may not be working about the current sorting system for posts. I think a lot of it's a simple branding/labeling issue - for those wanting to start a dialogue with Bungie, or tell them what's on their mind, or even just vent about their frustrations, it's not entirely clear where that should be happening (just look at the sub-categories of Feedback...huh?). And for those of us looking to start a constructive dialogue with other Guardians, the flood of feedback-based posts (positive OR negative) is interrupting the ability to do that, and it's not entirely clear where THAT shold be happening either. Both sides are starting to get frustrated, and I think we all agree the current system isn't ideal - which isn't exactly promoting the most friendly atmosphere between the "opposing" sides. If you want to drop by and contribute, it might be a chance to get some constructive feedback going - I'm not trying to stir up a riot or take sides, just find a way we can all enjoy our time here, whatever it is we're looking for, and hopefully cut down on the whole "moving posts" thing in the process. For everyone's sanity. :)

I think Bungie's actions declaring their intentions. They want anything where someone is offering or asking for quality judgements about the game under "Feedback". ...and since that is what most of the unsatisfied gamers who post here are offering, that is why a lot of stuff is getting moved. I think they want to reserve the Destiny 2 sub-forum for discussions of theory, lore, and other practical aspects of game play. At the end of the day, someone has to READ the post in order to MOVE it....which is why the accusation that Bungie is some how doing this to try to "silence" feedback or that they can "ignore" negative feedback is unreasonable, and an emotional argument. ...and why it was so funny to have it shotdown so quickly by our newest CM. But I do think you have a point in that clearer communication on Bungie's part could reduce some of this frustration. However I think some people have such a need to identify as victims, that it will never go away entirely.

"Victims" of a voluntary choice to participate in an entertainment medium, the sole purpose of which is provide a trivial distraction from important things in life. :) It would almost be adorable, if it weren't so mind-numbingly self-centered.
