The draft is 18, yet only people older than 21 can buy guns.

You can’t buy pistols at 18. You can buy rifles, shotguns and apparently semiautomatic weapons at 18... You can join the military at 18 and carry all three! But you still can’t drink a beer....

Agreed. This eighteen-year-old in particular shouldn't have been able to get a weapon, but that doesn't mean that none should be. Perhaps there should be a more comprehensive background check for those under 21, or some form of required certification.
