As the snowy season in the northern hemisphere continues, I was wondering how many of us take advantage of all of this magical white powder. So, do you ski or snowboard? Are you any good? Are you better than Elizabeth Swaney?

Not the best year, but still better than the shit on the east coast.

None of the above. I haven't snowboarded or been snow skiing, but I can water ski pretty well. I have been on a chairlift before; I visited a ski resort in the summer and I took a chairlift up a mountain and rode my bike down it.

Well last time we had snow in my area was 6 years ago. And I didn't really visit that many snowy places.
we might get some tomorrow though.
1 Replyas the person that i am right now, i have not been a big fan of snow and getting me to a chairlift is never going to happen anytime soon

6 RepliesI've been snowboarding for 7 years now (maybe longer) i'm decently good, though i just started doing park stuff. I primarily do alpine/downhill boarding. I'm good enough to do Double Blacks all day long. I have not done a Double Black EX yet. (which i plan on doing next available opportunity i have) i've gone around of 60 MPH before and i really enjoy going fast. my current board is a Burton Custom Flying V (2016-2017) and i love it. It's a beautiful looking board and has done well by me.

2 RepliesI wish I could ski. Never been before, but if I had the ability/money I'd be on the mountain as much as possible. I'm mainly interested in freestyle, which is why I say skiing over snowboarding. I love the style elements that skiing brings that snowboarding doesn't, like nosebutters and crossing skis.
I've been into action sports since I was a kid. Just never had the athletic ability.
I have been skiing a couple times. Not really any slopes around here. 'Ober' Gatlinburg but thats a few hours away and most of the time there is no snow.

3 RepliesEdited by RC_Villain: 2/24/2018 6:48:40 AMI've been snowboarding for about 15 years now, and I still try to go every year. I've entered one competition but constant injuries have put an end to my competitive career for now. It's still super fun but really takes a toll on your body. I don't know if I can compete with Swaney, I mean she did make it to the Olympics after all.

4 RepliesI can't snowboard anymore, I dislocated my knee a few months ago and ripped all the muscles in my leg
-
5 RepliesI’ve seen snow only once in my life, and that was when I was on vacation
-
to who here has never been on a chairlift for Americans: go to Canada for anyone overseas: you have no excuse

2 RepliesI made a thread on who watches winter Olympics and no one cares about them. I even asked my friends about them and NO ONE watches them. I snowboard and ice skate so I watch everyday.

2 RepliesSnowboard. Started when I was in like 2nd grade. Haven't been in a couple years though.
