Destiny 2 PC FPS Stutter in Public Events after a few minutes

Whenever I first enter a world to do public events everything is a smooth 4K 60 fps but after starting and finishing a few public events things start to stutter and become choppy. It's most noticeable on Titan and Nessus. In most other areas including strikes / raids / crucible game runs perfectly. I've seen other people post about this problem before but no one seems to have found an fix and now its February. LOL! I absolutely cannot believe this is still an issue. I gave up playing Destiny 2 a long time ago, but I was on here frequently trying to petition for bungie/VV to do SOMETHING, ANYTHING, to improve it. Luckily, it wasn't just this stutter that left a bad taste in my mouth. Even if bungie did give a crap and fixed the stutter, there are so many other problems with this game that I have no desire to return, period. I am waiting for my car to be serviced and decided to check out the forums for some reason after months to see if this was still a thing. Apparently it is.

    • Known issue since launch, sadly Bungie doesn’t want to acknowledge that this issue is on their end. I must have made a dozen posts about this since launch and it’s still an issue that they won’t take seriously.
