Bungie love taking the piss. My hunter as been at 334 for 12 weeks, each week I have down the events to complete my clan contribution and every power engram gives me every thing I already have. I have that many duplicate exotic engrams its not funny. One week every drop was the same gauntlet, frustrating would be a mild description. I need the cloak has any one got any suggestions to increase the odds?
Any help appreciated.

Trials has rotating max gear the cloak had to have been sold in the past 12 weeks

Raid much? I swear class items drop every time raid reset. Raid is like 25 min for normal and 35-45 on prestige. EOW drop cloak like it's candy and that raid is also about 25 min. There's definitely something fishy here... ya know the saying... everyone wants to be rich but nobody wants to work hard for it.

Finish the raid.

I found that going to the tower after completing one milestone and then returning after completing another gave me nothing but exotic gauntlets and helmets. I changed to doing more than one milestone, then claiming the rewards would give me one exotic for the first claim but the second was never an exotic. For me Zavala seemed more generous with class items so I'd go to him second. Can't claim it'll work for everyone though.

The real pain is in the fact that there’s no statistical improvement that is significant towards your damage done/damage received parameters. You are literally busting your balls over something irrelevant!
-
I was going to point out the obvious no raid completions but at least you've tried the raid a few times (even if unsuccessful) but if you want to level up, do the end game activities, right?

I can’t seem to get a Titan chest piece. Arms and helmets for weeks and weeks.

Edited by ELRaSun: 2/24/2018 5:05:27 AM334 cloak? Have an Aeon gauntlet! Seriously though, I finally got my last piece (chest) from doing public events on Mercury.

Edited by Bejay1970: 2/26/2018 11:02:55 AMHey, this is REALLY hard to fix, you know:
$Item[0].Lootpool = All $Item[1].Lootpool = Exotic.Osiris $Item[2].Lootpool = Shaders $NumberOfDrops = Rnd(rand(2,7)) foreach $Item in $NumberOfDrops: {Display $Item[$Item] move ($item[$Item], User.Inv)}
They would have to get rid of about one line of code to fix this mess. (In case you are wondering the code is in WhoCares++)

This is awful advice, but here goes. Make a new hunter. Get him to level 25. Give him all your hunter gear. Play the game all the way to the end of CoO. You get a max level drop from brother Vance of you are 334, any piece of gear you want. Good luck.

If you have spare planetary materials and tokens to turn in, look up either Destiny Vendor Tracker or vendorengrams.xyz to see what vendor is currently giving 330 engrams Otherwise, you'll just have to get lucky when completing the weekly milestones and if the random odd blue engram will give you a 330 Cloak
-
If you are so desperate to get gear here is a method you might want to consider. Step one: get a full set of rare class armour & weapons Step two: get a uncommon jump ship and sparrow Step three: make sure that you have enough space in your vault to Store anything that you don’t want to delete. Step: four: make sure that all your good gear is stored in your vault Step five: log out & delete character Step six: create a new character Step seven: follow the campaign mission until you get to the payback mission. Step eight: focus on public events - world bosses and loss sectors and if you must pvp as well so you can get back to level 25. Once you get back to level 25 go back to your vault and get your old gear then continue with the campaign mission along with the DLC then you will get what your after.🦉

Same here. I can't get a 330 bond. Lame.
-
Just infuse a 330 blue Cloak whenever you get it. Play a lot of public events, patrols, lost sectors, and open chests. You are bound to find something.
-
And I was pissed over 7 weeks!

Don’t worry anout it, every enemy scales to your light level. Being 335 means nothing different from being 330, or 300 even. You deal the same damage, take the same damage, move the same speed. Light level only dictates if an activity is unlocked or not, so if you’re above 330 you’re golden. All prestige and nightfalls are at your disposal. So don’t sweat it, you’ll get it eventually but its like getting new pants. YOU’LL feel good about it but they won’t actually do anything for you and no one else will notice until you say something, then they’ll be like ‘uhmm ya, cool pants....(....the -blam!-?)’
-
I am in the same boat. I can make multiple 335 builds except I can’t seem to get even a sniff of a 330 cloak. It’s frustrating, considering my Titan and warlock get marks and bonds in blue like they are lollies :(
-
I'm stuck on 334 on the titan. This week was the last time I'm doing the milestones. Can go -blam!- it's self
-
I feel your pain. It took 9 or 10 weeks before a 330 cloak dropped for my Hunter and I finally broke the 334 barrier. All mt other armor and weapons were at 335. The really stupid part is that random blue or legendary engrams will only drop at up to 324. Once you hit 335, they drop at up to 330 light, which is completely maddening. It's also too bad there are no Exotic class (Cloak, Bond or Titan dish cloths) either which would likely help.
-
Same for warlock. Been waiting for the boots to reach max. I guess they just make us grind for nothing, or the Bungie shoe shop doesn't have my size...
-
Yep, same here mate. It's a bit pathetic really. I have one character at 335, the other 2 are trapped in 334 and every week I do all the milestones except raid and never get the one piece I need. It feels like it's done on purpose to keep me playing. It's having the opposite effect and killing my desire, knowing that what I'm going to get isn't what I want.
-
Bring back random rolls!! Save the game!!

Forever 29
-
Light level hasn’t mattered since D1.
-
Do the raid, dropping like candy in there.
-
You've never once completed a raid. 12 weeks would be 24 raid completions. You would have gotten the cloak.
