Hi I am a level 307 power guardian. The one problem I am having is I can’t get any engrams from reputations or milestones that are above 305 which is making it super hard to get any further. This has been going on for about a week. If you have any suggestions or are able to tell me why I can’t get anything higher please let me know thanks.

Do all your weapons and armor have legendary +5 mods?

Just to be sure, you do have Curse of Osirus right? If not, then 305~ is the power cap. Crappy move on Bungie's part but I'm not here to bitch about something I couldn't do so :/

The power level cap was reduced to 307 after the last patch

Without a linked account its hard to help. Research the Legendary Mods and the effect they have, I'm willing to bet you've been deleting blues that could be boosting your level.

Edited by Carson Kidd: 2/22/2018 5:14:13 AMHey Eighty. It took me a while to figure it out too. The powerful engrams are the easiest and fastest way to power up. Make sure you have your highest power gear on before turning them in. Also, you can play through the blue quests. The one on earth gives you mida mini and mida multi tool which drop at high power. The quest on Nessus gives you drang and the other pistol which also drop at higher power. After you get those though, you pretty much grind powerful engrams every week. It helps to have 3 characters. You give the high level weapons to your lower level characters to bring them up in power quickly. Then you can grind 3x as many powerful engrams weekly (if you play that much). I usually get flashpoint, strikes, clan and crucible on all three in a few hours. Join a clan if you haven’t already. Good luck out there!

Did you finish the campaign with that Character?

Depends on what activities you're doing. You need to be doing the higher tier content or the milestones. You can see what they are in the Director. There's a variety of ways like doing Crucible matches, heroic strikes, challenges, Nightfall, Flashpoint on a certain planet. Make these your focus. If you look at the reward they give a "Luminous Engram" as a reward. These will always be something higher than your light.

You need to do milestones. Guaranteed upgrade usually, unless your RNG is just crap.
