The highlight was definitely the Burnout map for me! Loved the reimagined burning shrine.
I liked the game mode but I didn't enjoy how it WAS played by most. It really was an ability spam fest that heavily favoured nightstalkers and arcstriders. It highlighted how much of an advantage nightstalkers have over all other classes in general, and brought to light how over powered double/ quadruple skip grenades are. So many times I was literally chased by multiples skip grenades with no chance of survival because they track so aggressively and fast.
And whoever got first heavy...usually the team with the most hunters, they would usually go on to continually wipe the opposition and hold heavy for the remainder of the match.
That said I did have some great matches and some hero moments so I can't say I didn't enjoy it overall.
I actually think you went the wrong way with the crimson buffs, instead of promoting and strengthening the hand holding tactics that the game already employs.
you should have used the D1 crimson buffs or basically the opposite of what you did. Increase movement speed and weapon handling/ ability recharge rates for being away from your team mate/ being the last guardian standing. And also reversed the enemy indicator so it showed up when the team was close together ( and without their buffs ) and made it dissappear when they split up and gained their buffs.
This would have made for more fun in my opinion and allowed for a greater versatility in playstyle and also lessened the advantages that 2 nighstalker/ arcstriders skips would have had.
Maybe next time hey?😉
