Issue Information UPDATED SEE BELOW: Slowdown (frame rate drops to 35-40fps. Normally 60fps.
Destination/Activity: Everywhere (menus, locations, activities) except Director.
UPDATE: This also happens when switching display modes (Fullscreen, Windowed, Borderless Fullscreen, and Windowed Fullscreen) with M+K or controller.
Description: When continuing past the title screen with Mouse or Keyboard, the game slows down to 30-50fps on the character select screen. In orbit is lower. Going to Tower goes to the teens as well as some graphical glitches (dark textures, lighting issues, flickering textures).
Workaround: Plug in a PS4 controller and press Options in-game, go past the title screen UPDATE: or confirming Display Modes (see above) with it instead of the Mouse and Keyboard. Haven't tried with an Xbox One Controller. If done at the tower, raid without checkpoint, or in orbit, the frames go back to normal and textures are fixed.
UPDATE: 03/12/18. When in full screen mode. ALT-tabbing to another app, then ALT-tabbing back to Destiny 2 causes the slowdown to 40fps or so too. As soon as you move the controller it goes to 60fps.
I can then switch back to M+K at normal FPS.
Had this problem with 1.1.2.1 as well.

Edited by MarkkusBoi: 2/22/2018 12:29:53 AMI'm going to update to the latest driver (I've been on the previous) and try it out. Did you uninstall your previous driver before installing the current one? That causes problems sometimes. Another thought is that maybe the window is losing focus, so the game isn't rendering as many frames. You could try Alt+Tabbing in and out and see if that works. You should also try to put your game into Fullscreen mode instead of Windowed Fullscreen.

Thank you for the report. If anyone else has success with this please post here. I'm curious if maybe there's a driver issue at play. Are you using any 3rd party software such as Logitech or Razer Synapse? Are those up to date?

Has this worked for anyone else?
