Well, thank you for having an open mind reading my thread. Not many know how to look pass certain things and look at the over all but I'll leave that at that. As far as having an outlet we all need them from time to time. Life happens but there are ways of dealing with things, it's just a matter on how one goes about it at times.
The first and most likely to occur I agree with because of Bungie's track record this last couple years. Now, I get making mistake, trying to address them and move forward. What I don't get is how a company can keep making the same mistakes for years unless it's deliberately and not moving forward. In reality this game is back to square 1 like D1 vanilla but a hell of a lot less then D1 vanilla. That is the mind boggling part about it knowing it's 3+ years later.
The second is a given :)
But, the community has stuck together and has changed a couple thing and I think it should happen more often because it seems to have made a little impact...
Like Bungie attempting to put up another paywall with the first expansion. I'm glad the was shut down real quick. It's when the community actually pays attention and not get caught up in the, Ooh, look over there at that shiny thing is when things seen to have an impact.
I'd say the Eververse outrage, but it had no effect knowing Bungie road out Dawning until it was over and then some to even acknowledge the communities outrage. IMO Crimson is a weak at best apology saying "we are listening" To me it's not so much about if the community if they can work together or not. It's knowing that the company doesn't really pay any attention to them other then the small petty thing most of the time. Look at the wish list that use to be up. Over a hundred thousand replies of feed back and great ideas about the game just thrown in the trash. Bungie say "we want your feedback" but what's the point if you are ignoring it?
Your last one I understand where you went with it. But :) I don't think much would change knowing the actions the higher ups have taken this last couple years that has nothing to do with Activision. Going on there own is what they should of attempted to do before they signed a contract with Activision. In that process of signing that contract they had no idea how it was actually going to effect the company and the key people that use to work for Bungie. Staten, O'Donnell and other that left this company or the smart ones that left before the Bungie signed that contract because they new that it was a huge mistake for the company. Of course this is just my opinion, but I believe there is more truth to it then some would care to admit.
IMO a lot of this has to deal with the higher ups. The lack of knowing how to communicate with their player base let a lone themselves and how mismanaged this company actually is. All of that plays a huge role on the out come of this entire game. Until Bungie gets their company properly managed, this game will continue to head in the direction it has been.
