Here are my thoughts, and I want this to serve more as feedback and not bashing the game or Bungie. Unfortunately, this event was lackluster and just was not enough of a reason to keep playing past the weekly milestones. The timing of the event is appreciated, to keep a sense of continuity across the customs first established throughout the first Destiny, but there’s nothing new here asking for players to come and play, nothing that builds upon how much we were supposed to have grown as a game and community.
For the live event being Crimson Doubles, it was hoped that it would provide a variety of both 2 player fireteam activities across PvE and PvP game modes. With these live updates, can there be a way where the narrative of the story after the red war and Osiris conflict moves forward? Either by adventures or short quests?
Sorry to drag this out, but again, the main issue is that there’s nothing new and it feels like a rehashed event from Destiny 1 with nothing significant added to it.
Also, as a suggestion to making the live events more interesting to play, how about bringing back old exotics and PvP maps. As for those who miss the event, allow the cosmetic items be earned through Ikora Rey’s meditations.
Can we have ammo synthesis back, please?
