I'm mainly a PvE player (with an occasional deep dive into IB). So far, Crimson Days is pretty good. It's refreshing to not feel 'guided' or 'herded' to Tess Everis all the time. The matches themselves have been fun, and I'm super happy this was a match made event. It doesn't always work out, but at least I've always got a way to get into a match! I think the ghosts are the coolest part of the loot. The shaders are ok... Sparrows are good. The exotic ornaments look cool too. I will also say that the Tower 'wowed' me when I first popped in. The petals in the air and the decor is beautiful.
