Edited by Croooc: 2/16/2018 3:22:11 PMCan you name a better nation?
-
Denmark, Iceland, Finland, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland... rest of Europe
-
The American military and economy is better than all of those countries.
-
LMFAO! Yes... This is because it is a larger country obviously! The GDP per capital is better in these countries, the standard of living is better in these countries, the education system is better in these countries, rates of violence are lower in these countries, the health service is better in these countries and overall these countries, that is European countries mostly excl. Britain, are all better places to live and to be born from than America. Also these countries based off sample surveys and testing have far higher levels of happiness.

School-wise or handling the gun problem? Japan. My experience in the class setting in Japan is very limited, but I haven't heard anything from any of my family in Japan about school shootings occurring there.

I meant as a whole. Japan has the highest suicide rate of any nation, and our military and economy are better. Japan is pretty cool, though.
-
A big reason for that is because of their work culture, and how it's set there. American culture can be seen as bad because violent outbursts like this recent tragedy, while in Japan, overworking and conservative traditions are some of the main reasons for the high suicide rate there. Japan also doesn't have a big military mainly because of an agreement they made with the US and the Allies after WW2, so I don't really see why this is relevant to the discussion.
