Oh one thing if forgot to mention earlier: Damn auto rifles. I mean seriously what where you thinking? They snipe you across the map wit auto rifles it's complete bullshit. Scout rifles should easily dominate on long distance over an auto rifle but they don't. Fix it damn it

  • We are not going back to the auto rifle nerf from D1. They just need some range tuning, apart from that they are perfect. Buff pulse rifles and handcannons instead to be on par with autorifles

  • well they definitely need a range reduction. It can't be that an auto rifle is still effective all the way across the map.

  • The maps are pretty small, thats why you see auto rifles everywhere, because they match the maps range. Now get an auto rifle on a map like Pantheon on D1 and you will see the range difference

    sure the new maps are smaller. but let's take the trials map last week. somebody who stands at the heavy should barely cause any damage with an auto rifle against someone who stands at the low end of the stairs on the other side of the map close to the spawn. or at least the recoil should prevent a full clip of headshots on that distancre. But neither is the case. and then of course there are the old maps that were brought to D2. e.g. shores of time. somebody standing in the area behind the circle door shouldn't be able to do constant headshots on full auto against someone who is on the other side of the map in the greenish area near the spawn.

  • Thats why the range reduction is needed. Think about it this way, if they reduce the range, then the damage is dropped aswell. From that range they should be able to only tickle you a little.
