Power weapons seem to kind of remove the feeling of actual teamwork in the mode, in my opinion. Of most of the games I've played already it seems to devolve down to "Who can camp the ammo spawn hardest?" Which... at least gives a point of contention, but at the same time, once that guy gets his rocket launcher, the round is basically over.
It's frustrating when you're doing great and suddenly all of that is taken away from you by one guy who just stands by the ammo rack with his rocket launcher or his sword.
And yeah, what a lot of other people are saying, the ability regen boost seems kind of crazy, and that's coming from someone who was just spamming smoke bombs. It's not fun to play against that at all. The boost could use some tweaks, I liked the idea someone had for making it more gunplay focused than a sort of... 2v2 discount mayhem.
I do like it, but... it obviously has some flaws and problems that seem to have been totally overlooked. I'd say put power weapons in on a sudden death, or if it's a tie breaker. It might make sudden death feel just that more tense rather than "Well, they have a rocket launcher, we're just going to hide for now and try to get the ammo next round."
