I am a single father of four and my boys also played D2. That's right, I said played. We had so much fun in D1 and I was so excited for D2. My boys were big trials players. After the launch of D2 they went flawless a bunch and then the issue with the emote came up. They waited the two weeks and then started playing again. They quickly grew tired of the DDOS attacks and LAG in Trials.
Long story short, we traded in their 4 copies of D2 at GameStop and went for ice cream with the cash. Good old dad is the only one that still plays. It's a bummer!!!

Same here. I bought myself a PS4 just so I could play Destiny 1 with my son but I got mine at Rise of Iron and he had already been playing since the earlier releases. I was really looking forward to playing D2 together but with his higher skill level he was able to churn through everything in D2 very quickly and became so disappointed with all aspects of the gameplay, armor, and weapon nerfing that he basically just quit once he got over 330. He played regularly with his clan mates in D1 but they all dropped off playing D2 not too long after release. Now I just play by myself and solo everything I can but still haven’t done any of the D2 raids and stay out of trials. I solo queue all crucible, win some but lose more and still miss him telling me “just follow me dad” in crucible.
