In terms of the whole event, I think it's a step in the right direction.
The lack of a way to buy crimson engrams definitely helps earn back some trust from the community, but its only a first step. If it continues then I think that Destiny might have a good future.
The crimson doubles mode is good, but it can be improved. Mostly, a lot of people think it should have been elimination. Without elimination it just turns into camp the power ammo simulator. Besides that, the buff system works well with the aesthetics of the event and in game aswell.
The decision to make crimson engrams drop with bright engrams was great. Pve players could still participate without having to play PvP so that's great.
My only gripes where that loot dropped too frequently so I think the more rare drops won't be as valuable to the community. People loved weldfire from WotM not only because it looked great but because it was rare. Also the ghost shells were a little underwhelming. Maybe a chalk heart ghost or a return of the ghosts from d1 would have been nicer than just red and white ones. The exotic sparrow is my favorite sparrow in the game now though.
One big problem that is the same with the dawning is the fact that I don't want to use my crimson shaders because they will run out. The red and black is one of the better shaders in D2 but I can't use it.
Over all I think its a good step in the right direction. Keep up the good work guys.
Edit: just realized this was about the 2v2 gamemode my bad. Still hope you see the feedback about the event as a whole.

A step in the right direction yes, the only problem is that this game is one million steps away of a "not bad state". Too little, to slow.

What's your point?

Edited by xxPieruchoxx: 2/14/2018 9:46:52 PMMy point is that is too little for the awful state of the game, and too slow. We need more changes and meaningful ones, changes that address the core problems and have to be implement fast in order to save the game.

What problems are you talking about? I'm not trying to be sarcastic or condescending. Just want to know what you think the core problems are.

Will be a text wall to list al the problems or the missing parts of a real Destiny game. 1.- Loot shooter without loot, cosmetics are not loot, repeated armor with no meaningful perks are not loot, reapeated weapons are not loot. If Bungie want to keep the static rolls have to keep a constant flow of new weapons (no reskins) with new perks and new perks combinations. Or return to random rolls. 2.- TTK time to kill have to be like D1, Lag problems this game need dedicated servers, shots thru walls or corners, bloom, phantom bullets. 3.- No sense to primary slots with no special wepon slots And lots of more things........ they are a lot of post that explain in detail de core problems of D2.
