I gotcha bud, but my point still stands. There are folks that loved D1 and may have shut down D2 at beta, but would love to see a D1-esque return. Also, D2 has received quite a bit of bad press, so you wouldn’t have to play to see the major issues and complaints with this game.
Also, D2 has received quite a bit of bad press, so you wouldn’t have to play to see the major issues and complaints with this game.
People who haven't played the game are doing nothing but parroting back what OTHER people are telling them about the game. Their "input" is of no value to Bungie.

Yeah, but that experience is more credible from people who have fully played the game. If I were to go back and read every review about destiny 1, nobody, not even the extremely gullible should have bought it. No story, cut content, lack of direction, pathetic balancing, lag problems, lore in game that had to be read on an external source...blatant lies about free roaming, lack of company feedback, no actual endgame besides the band-aid that was random rolls, sure they had cool raids and nightfalls were fun, but only having a total of 6 endgame activities spanning across 4 dlcs is atrocious... Thinking about those alone should be more than enough to dissuade people, but the people who actually played the game felt otherwise, wanna know why? Because reviews are opinions. Just like how everyone had a different opinion on destiny 1.

Reviews are opinions. And these days, its more about whether the game meets the reviewers demands/expectations and not whether or not its a fun game to play.

It's why I don't trust reviews. Although I still look at them to see what is said, I t gives me a general idea of what to expect, but sometimes I'll think differently about parts people didn't like. For example, the simplicity of fighterZ aka x mashing, allows less skilled players like myself to enjoy the game more, but that's how it was until I figured out actual combos with a friend of mine who's super into mortal combat and the works. Just because a group of people don't like it, doesn't mean there's a 100% chance you will feel the same way. Another example would be monster Hunter. It's a fun game, but a friend of mine (same person as before) played all the other ones and he dislikes the new one because of how repetitive the monsters are.
