No handholding, no pointer where to go.
figure it out by talking to npcs etc
magic without limitations, levitation, crazy jumps etc.
also spellcrafting (e.g. combine fireball with soul trap)
costs gold, shows amount of mana needed to cast, so can't do supercrazy until has piles of gold and a deep manapool
So it’s kinda more realistic? That sounds great.. and I would like to play through atleast once without mods but thank you for recommendation ill definitely keep it in mind.
-
I wouldn't say it's more realistic, just old-school, and more of a background numbers game
automatic blocking, and actually hitting your targets depends on your skill & stamina. Tired morrowinder can't hit shit...
The mod-installer is a step-by-step thing, you csn choose what to install or keep it vanilla.

I’m new to pc gaming lol I’ll figure it out eventually

Yep, morro can be brutally unfriendly to beginners, but damn it gets good later
have played it through maybe 3 times, pro tip: be careful when bartering bc you can actually sell important quest items, and then you're -blam!-ed :D Did that once, realized it too late (all my saves were after that -blam!--up) Oh them old school games, eh?
-
Lol that’s what I meant by realistic things like that... though it can be annoying I always thought it was cool when a game would let you do things like for example kill important npcs lol that’s what makes a game an open world one for me!

Edited by Pahvi: 2/2/2018 12:47:19 AMOh yes, you could kill a whole town, while levitating and pooping death on them lil' helpless ants
end-end-endgame, good times... I miss these things in modern games, why can't we be "gods" and do what we want (without a mapmarker/waypointer, lol)
-
Yeah... forsure... I miss the olden days still don’t know why I never played marrowind before lol

Maybe runescape stole someone's attention... If you've played oblivion/skyrim, morro is going to feel awkward, especially controls...
there are programs which can turn your gamepad into kb&m like joy2key, xpadder and x360ce, if you think it could be less awkward with a controller... Bc I'm pretty sure that morro doesn't have a native gamepad support (it might tho, bc it's also on orig xbox)
