That's what rep was in D1. Now you can choose what character collects the rewards for you. This is like people complaining about bounties being gone when challenges are the same thing, but improved.

And it's clearly not better the way it was layed out in d2 if they had to change it to be like Rise of Iron
-
Change what to be like RoI?
-
The purchase option for selected loot items. Again, making loot more accessible.
-
But I guess that's been a part of IB for a while. It's nice the D2 finally caught on tough.
-
But it's not fun! I don't care about which character gets what, if I want warlock armor I'll play on my warlock, if I want Hunter armor I'll play on my hunter. The issue to me is that it's just not fun. It's lame. It's boring. It's stale, man. Nobody had any issues with they way it worked in D1. Why the h*ll would they change it?!
-
It's the same as far as gameplay and rewards. Literally the same. You're complaining about it being a token counter instead of a rep counter.
-
Yeah, I know! That's exactly what I'm complaining about, and in case you haven't noticed, it's the same thing a large part of the community has been complaining about. The tokens. Are garbage. Done, change it, move on, #maked2funagain
-
A large part has not actually, but I'm glad that you know that it's silly to complain about.
-
Well that's all relative, but enough people complained that bungie took action and changed up the loot for IB, so no, not silly at all.
-
That change has nothing to do with diminishining the role of tokens...
-
No, but it has to do with making rewards more accessible. Something that a large section of the community has been vocal about, in part due to the token system.
