[Update: 1/26/18]
Have some clarification and answers to questions asked overnight:
1. When applying the Masterwork upgrade to a Legendary, the stat package is rolled randomly.
2. All Raid Masterworks must be earned from raid drops and can’t be obtained from Engrams or vendors in the Tower.
3. Equipping a Raid Armor Mod will fully replace any mod that is currently equipped to the armor piece. While Raid Mods can be equipped at any time using a Raid Token, alternate mod consumables are lost in this process.
I personally went back to Destiny 1 because d2 is in a boring state for me. All characters are 335 with all the loot I want in the game. I love this franchise mostly for the raids. Unfortunately the raid lairs armor is pretty hideous. But I will say it was fun. I quit Destiny 1 because of the lack of things to do and the repeat of doing every strike etc over and over to grind for gear was overkill in year 1. But going back now it's an amazing game. The raid gear and loot is better looking an more useful. If the raid items could be more like d1 and we got a full on raid in expansions that would be great an I would return. The excuse of raid being forgotten was a copout for me because I do wrath, crota, kings, and vog weekly. An it keeps my interest with the weekly raids mechanics are waay better. Another hit d2 took for me was the class skill tree. It's blan and leaves no room for customization. When or if these get fixed I'd come back and if not well hopefully d3 will be better but I doubt I will buy a full $100 copy with season pass due to y'alls track record being so tainted. That's pretty much it. Good luck bungie and I hope you guys can put this game back on track!
