[Update: 1/26/18]
Have some clarification and answers to questions asked overnight:
1. When applying the Masterwork upgrade to a Legendary, the stat package is rolled randomly.
2. All Raid Masterworks must be earned from raid drops and can’t be obtained from Engrams or vendors in the Tower.
3. Equipping a Raid Armor Mod will fully replace any mod that is currently equipped to the armor piece. While Raid Mods can be equipped at any time using a Raid Token, alternate mod consumables are lost in this process.
Edited by Ghostreaper: 1/26/2018 2:51:59 PMWhy Don't you start adding shit for pvp You fail ass company Like were is the 3v3 and 6v6 even a free for all like This Game fails. How long do you think we're going to play this lame ass game

im just waiting on that day when the update rolls out, you guys wont be getting engrams, something will go wrong because it always has, they said if you dont get an engram the first time in a raid youll have better chance next time, what they forget to tell you is its going to be an other next time and then again and again and ppl will complain that your still getting IB season 1 stuff way more then season 2 even tho in season 1 we already got f’ucking dupes over and over, then some kind of throttling will occure somewhere, ppl not getting anything new, i already smell an apology coming i bet they already written it and all he needs to do is press send, this game is to late its a f’ucking joke!

Finally a step in the right direction. I am still shocked at the awful decisions that Bungie made that have led us to this place. It’s going to take a lot of work at Bungie to right the ship and I fear that someone over there can have another brain cramp at any time and send us capsizing again
-
If only you guys weren’t ego inflated thieves and clueless from the get-go. This kind of feedback would of been good. It is too late for D2. Way too much rework to be done that just isn’t possible. We know that And you know that With D3.. don’t make these stupid mistakes again. Clean your acts. Be the company you use to be, and less like a puppet to the $ and AV
-
I'll have to give it a go first, but the only worthwhile item of interest was the Prometheus Lens tweak.

Bravo. The sort of nitty gritty enhancement details in this TWAB is exactly what we need to see on a regular basis. If the team is able to stay aggressive about making things better (new enhancements + balancing / tuning / improving game dynamics), this would be a 180˚turn-around from the things which have made everyone discontent. (I'm not saying everyone's going to be content suddenly, because a lot of people are more comfortable embracing discontentedness lol—but that's on them.)
-
Nice job sneaking your bull crap bright engrams into the raid endgame. If you think you've "tipped the scales" too far making eververse the endgame, then why make that move? Honestly?

Hey Dmg04, if you guys are really struggling with the shader reward cap thing, here's a quick logic strand that might solve it. It's just generic form because I have no idea what coding language you would need it in, but shouldn't be too hard for you guys to repurpose on your end, and tweaked for the different reward currencies. w = current glimmer owned x = glimmer reward from one shader y = total shaders dismantled z = total glimmer rewarded IF (w + (x * y)) > 100000 THEN z = (100000 - w) ELSE z = (x * y) END Just trying to help.

I just want to take a moment and show appreciation for Bungie and the community managers. Thank you for showing other Devs and community managers how not to do their jobs. Because of you guys other devs do their job by providing quality content to the player base. Other community managers actually take the time to communicate with their players base. Thank you Bungie. Keep up the bad work.
-
Too little too late for me. I'm sure a lot of others agree. I stuck it out for months. But none of the changes being made will bring me back. Honestly I don't give a crap about your communication.

To mass delete shaders. Just put all the ones you don’t want on a character you don’t want or are willing to start over and delete the character. Hard pill to swallow, I know. But works 👍
-
Thanks. As much as i love to hear about why this shaders thing is a problem and the possible side effects, I'd have liked to hear a bit more about storage. If we cannot delete them, why can't we have more Inventory/Storage space. The vault should be as simple as increasing the "maxItem" setting as the UI for page flip is already there. Inventory is more work, but vault? Can we get a rational here as well?

Edited by BERSEKAEL: 1/26/2018 2:25:19 PM6vs6? or still 4vs4? cap at 30th package? is IB dropping only IB rewards, or it has a mix with regular drops infesting the loot table? time to kill fixed? abilities CD fixed? are shaders stilla a massive drop? (my vault and post master were full of shaders when I deleted the game) ... cheers and waiting on real news

Wasn't the timers for missions and nightfall suppose to be removed as well?
-
Wow for once I'm actually getting a little bit of hope for this game again, if everything they said is true then this upcoming patch might kickstart destiny 2 into being a good game again. But I'm not going to judge this patch before it comes out, Please let this be the start of something good bungie!

Edited by Jinx: 1/26/2018 4:53:44 AMIf "breaking down masses of shaders" is so difficult because of individual rewards, here's what you do. You make them infinitely usable, erase all the stacks, and have one individual item that all you have to do is attribute it to the item. That doesn't take work. It'll take you less than 5 hours to code that. Considering your game is all but -blam!-ing dead I don't see why you would bother to put in five hours of work when it's a lost cause at this point, but people have been asking you to return these items to unlimited use for six months. You can continue trying to screw people just so you have something to sell from eversuck, or you can just do what your players have been telling you to do for six months and maybe still have a game to work on. Your choice. Hint. Do what players want. Telling them to play your way or go away is having the obvious result. They're going away. You aren't the only game in town anymore. Wise up or go bankrupt. Look at your player stats. People are done with your bullshit. Not only are they moving on, they're moving on, having more fun elsewhere, and realizing they have no motive to return. Stop screwing people around and do what you're being told people want if you want to save your damned game. Or don't. Nobody will miss you.

Is it just me, or is this app broken? Double Posting and Forums wont load?
-
Raid specific mods, but they don't do anything to the mechanic or enemies, so it seems, then why have them. Oh new iron banner weapons and pretty lame ornaments, oh wait the weapons are reskined, great... Oh you get stuff for deleting shaders? How about you stop giving us stuff for it, split the mechanic for weapons and armor shading and allow us to delete them.
-
Bungie why can’t you open up D1 again, trials and iron banner It gives people a choice in the interim....if you make D2 great people will come back.
-
Yet another complete fail of an update, so once again I say, nothing to see here move along! You are addressing all the wrong things, you are doubling down on the exact stuff that made your player base bleed to death. Still won't be pulling money out of my wallet with this crap.
-
Here’s the good and bad about the update. The good: This TWAB directly and specifically gives us an idea of what’s coming and exactly how things are changing eg damage increase percentages. The bad: Nothing to do with the TWAB itself but the state of the game means that these updates will continue to consist of “we’re bringing back D1 stuff!” and that can only have a response of “it should have been like that already”. The bad won’t go away any time soon so keep focussing on the good. More good helps loads!

I have a solution for your shader problem. Remove shaders from inventories. And make a kiosk that has all shaders. Here you can see witch ones you have and don’t. And how many of each. And you must come here to apply shaders. Like the dye station in the elder scrolls online. Sorted 👍
-
@dmg04 Is it possible to use those Raid Mods on non-raid armor once i obtained them?
-
Thanks for the updates. Keeps the game feeling fresh.
