    Loving Lightfall right now! - old

    It’s a shame that people are still fuming to the point where they feel the need to continuously post [b]all[/b] the things wrong with this game and [b]all[/b] their sore feelings about it. This is my honest opinion about this TWAB post. - This is a positive update by Bungie - I will return to Destiny from The Division if nearly every TWAB is as positive as this one - I believe that if Bungie can make each week a milestone of some sort, whereby they don’t just give us plans but also say what changes have [b]now come into effect[/b], then this game will be back on track. - I will no longer post negatively unless I’ve been screwed further somehow. Now it’s all about slowly finding more reason to log in and play which entirely depends on how many TWAB’s are as good as this (or better).

    • I suggest that you guys return the shader system back to the way it was with unlimited use shaders and focus on meaningful mods as the collectibles to complete activities and grind for... You can make shaders just like emotes are now where you can hold 10 or whatever and then you store ones in your vault instead of deleting. My vote goes to literally deleting the existing shaders and reset everyone to a new system and also give everyone a loot box with like 10 defaults and 1 purple for transferring to the new system. People will be angry because they saved up and blah blah but it would fix the system in place and give people reasons to play.

      Let me get this straight, you dont lose the raid mods when switching them around, they're in effect, unlimited use. Well, what happens to the (non raid) mods we already had equiped? Are they gone (dismantled) now? So now we will have to grind them back each time we switch them out with a raid mod? Are the raid mods in a new (different) mod slot now?

      • So much fake fluff, I can't believe the amount of upvotes from the sheep that are so excited after this TWAB. All of this crap was supposed to be apart of Vanilla D2. Bungie still didn't address their slimey tactics, apologize for them, or do anything to compensate their playerbase for their lack of integrity and transparency. Once you've paid another $60, this game MIGHT be what it was supposed to be at launch, and you all gawk at that like its the best thing since sliced bread. Bungie could literally refund season pass holders and give away DLC3 free and I wouldnt come back to this game. BUNGIE LIED, REPEATEDLY, only once they got caught red handed have they decided to make a TWAB that actually gave details, and this was smoke and mirrors.

          Good update. Question though: If mass deleting shaders is such a tricky problem, why not implement an auto-dismantle feature which, running the background and deletes one at a time (in the same speed, for safety and sync reasons + dust/shard/glimmer) you can start by using said button combination (LT+X) and can be stopped with the same combination while hovering over the shader. Items like glimmer, shards and bright dust you get from deleting should be send to the postmaster IF you are at your limit (yes, it requires making them actual items and they can stack up to a certain point). If the postmasters is full, and you just implemented that feature, the game warns you. The auto deleting stops then as well (same when you switch characters or log out). And during the process you can play the game because it‘s a background thing, which brings me to the main point of what the actual problem is: People don‘t really want a mass deleting feature. In reality they just wanna play the game, and not sitting in the inventory. I‘m sure no one would care how long it takes.

        • YOU shit all over the playerbase since launch. No this does not go far enough. Bungie deserves no praise until D2 is brought up to D1 standards. No good jobs, no well dones, and no thanks. Bungies deserves NOTHING with how you treat players, again and again.

          • From what I've read over D2's life span in these forums, the current planned Legendary Armour Masterworks addition is still way off the mark of what we have been calling for as a community. We want [b]ACTUAL PERKS[/b] on armour, random or not. Not the chance to re roll stats. The stats only affects your armour/recovery/speed and you are essentially just reshuffling them around and not gaining extra power. I respect the extra communication these days but I'm constantly tearing my hair out with these ever so slight and insignificant 'changes'.

            • Cool. Yet another system that relies on impossibly rare materials to perform tasks with completely random results. Fun. Can't wait to build my set of armor by doing a bunch of something and then maybe the thing I want happens, possibly. But probably not, because it never -blam!-ing does. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go roll a dice to see if I'm allowed to eat dinner or not.

              • So you guys are able to create "Raid perks" for the armor that enhances/ and creates synergy with our Guardians Subclasses. Why Not create Random perks for all armor so we can have this SYNERGY ALL THE TIME IN ALL ACTIVITIES. WHY ARE YOU GUYS SO AFRAID OF LETTING US CREATE OUR BUILDS?

                • Thank you. This is the kind of TWAB we want. We got information on upcoming changes, which included not only a caution about a masterwork armor bug (telling us before we get frustrated about it and have to run to the forums or Reddit to find out what's going on, imagine that) but also, finally, an explanation about shader stack deletions. Don't stop communicating with us, this is exactly what we want.

                • Please, pretty, pretty, please just do away with the "one time use" shader system entirely. Make shaders like the dye system in ESO. We should be at the point where we should be able to unlock colors or patterns based on certain activities that can then be combined and applied to make our own custom shaders for armor, guns, and everything else. The current system was several steps in the wrong direction from what we previously had. I currently hoard all my cool shaders because the "one time use" system makes me feel like I'm wasting a shader each time I use one

                  • This is the first TWAB or any post for that matter in all of Destiny history where I felt like you explained the what and more importantly the why. We’ve only been asking for it for four years, but nonetheless good job. But make this the minimal standard moving forward, then you will begin to build some trust back. Still not enough to bring me back in the wake of fortnite and monster hunter, but for the first time since 3 weeks after launch you’ve peaked my interest a bit.

                  • Update looks real good bungie. Great place to be for people who have yet to complete the raids. For those who have all the gear already and have no desire to run raids again, how bout a little light increase to bring players back and have reason to grind these things out. Or one of those random weapon quests like the sleeper. If we can't fix the ammo inconsistantcies then how about some mods that effect ammo drops.

                    • An answer for the still continuing battle with weapon loadout. 4th weapon slot that you can put any single weapon of your choice into. I like current weapon system and would be equally as pissed if it changed as those who currently don't like it are. Did a D1 raid yesterday and disliked the weapon system.

                        Why do you call reskinned stuff new ? Cosmetic only stuff could be a nice addon, but its no real loot. I want to grind for ... that great gun which makes a difference .. and not for a recolored item which is even below my light level.
