  • you guys are hilarious mods and bungie responding after something that we should have had in the first place. They are on a budget believe it or not and all this shit is planned. anthem just got canned too later release date. I am a ps4 player and looking to buy a rig now and play some real games.

  • In regards to the shaders. Could you guys look into trading the shaders like planetary materials and tokens? A certain amount, would say 20 of the rare shaders can be exchanged for a legendary Shader or a legendary pack of shaders? You could even bring back Eva Lavante and have her sell them. Just a thought

  • I don't like the way ghosts feel, i mean it's supposed to be your ghost somehow yet feels just like some ghostshell. You should have rather give us a ghost you can level up and get those perks by earning them.

  • It is nice to see Bungie finally decided to communicate with player base. Te update is a nice step forward on that p art and contain some minor improvements like Raid Gear etc.. However it is no where enough to convince me return back to Destiny. I sincerely hope you guys will keep this pace and improve the game and release all the improvements without tying them to any DLC. Because make sure that there is absolutely NO WAY i'll pay for you to fix the game. You choose to ignore the feedback from players , you choose to dumb down the game we love. So it is your responsibility to fix and cover the costs.

  • Honestly, and I am not speaking for everyone, but I would think a lot of people. Until the sandbox is changed back to a Destiny 1 style of play and options, I will not come back. This means power and charge rate of abilities, movement, skill tree options, weapon slots, perks and armor rolls that mean something so we can actually have build options. In air accuracy like icarus perk etc etc etc. PvP mode choice, 6v6, 3v3 elimination. Pretty much every system needs a massive overhaul, because a few safe tweaks over the next year or two is not going to do it.

    • Honestly it’s a good start. I feel like you guys are trying but still hesitant on making game breaking changes. For starters, guns need better perks such as firefly (the old firefly not dragonfly). Secondly, masterwork armor does nothing if I don’t have a super. Why not add perks that either help with heath regeneration, ammo or running speed when your not in a super? Lastly, although I like the raid rework (still not as good as it should have been) why not make the whole inventory available once you have completed the raid just limit the items the player can purchase to 1 for that week? This way you can truly get your missing piece of gear w/o being dissatisfied with duplicate drops (exotics/weapons/armor pieces) in the raid/lair.

    • Remind me again, why did you make this a stand alone game and not just a DLC for D1? Because all of this is stuff that was already in D1. You need to understand, we already waited three years for you guys to make D1 into an amazing game, now you're having us wait another year just so you can make this game (that nobody wanted) into what we left off with. You want a road map? Talk about DLC 2 or what you'll be doing in Fall. Because all you guys are giving us is stuff that should have already been in the game, none of it is motivating me to play long term.

        It's a good start and this is the sort of thing people want communication wise from a twab. Still needs a tonne more work though, more specific and rare loot, more sub class ideas as the current system is pathetic. Keep the ball rolling and get updates out faster, hopefully bring some faith to the community.

Such as scouts that do more damage against minotaurs, a pulse that prevents the hodgoblin guys doing the fiery crouch health regen (like sidearms did in D1, a rocket launcher that can pass through hydra shields etc etc? Edit: How about a 3 tiered reward system for missions, quests, nightfalls etc? Solo, team, prestige team. Even if the rewards are just token bundles or exclusive shaders and emblems. Triple the playability of everything with minimal effort. Ps. Edit: obligatory eververse opinion. I think the whole EV situation could be put to bed if bungie just removes the rng aspect of spending real money for a spin of the wheel. Let people buy exactly what they want. I will never buy from EV because of rng but if I saw some gear I fancied and could just purchase it directly then I would. I don't think anyone could complain or object to this system because it's 100% transparent.

          It's nice to hear that super damage reduction isnt the only thing being added to masterworks, though more will come later. Nonetheless, i really hope future additions to the masterwork armor will be more useful. 15% bonus armor isnt really that appealing especially in pve since you arent constantly in your super and even without the bonus 15%, death is a rarity for me. Also it's nice that stats can be rerolled, but the only time I'd even bother to do so is when a set has anything but recovery. In other words, resilience and mobility needs to be buffed to make choosing between the three to be a hard choice. I dont care about being able to walk faster or my initial jump to he higher, and i hardly feel tanky with high resilience. In D1, i could feel the effects of having either a faster str, dis or int cool down, which made choosing between the 3 to be more meaningful, also allowing me to create certain playstyles around them. Cant say the same with the current choices which is a shame.

          Cheers for the update unsure If Ill be able to get on for this Iron Banner due to work commitments (adult life is fun.......) but hoping the direction of the game and its loyal playerbase is headed in a positive direction.

          • Cool. Now explain why the Raid gear only gives you a bonus in the raid. I need to complete the raid to get an entire set at some point. But at that point I don't need a buff in there anymore. Pretty redundant.

          • Make friggn shader dismantle instantly by some combo, like LStick - X, like you suggested already. The dismantle timer is a problem, since it takes too long. Your "bulk dismantle problem" solved. Even if some highly educated dog would press that combination and dismantle a shader, it would be not a big loss since that scrap of no value anyway. P.S. If you started your work on D3 I suggest you stop it already, since it's obvious your team is not up to the task.

            I still say the same thing either buff the guns for prestige or nerf the health on adds on prestige modes. It is ridiculous to have to put five shots with a better devil hand cannon to kill one red bar cabal. I quit playing because of it. I have not done a raid on d2 since. I have never struggled this bad in a destiny game to do add control. y'all changed the weapon machanics for casuals but you forgot about the die hard fans that never gripped or bitched about the game. The only problem I ever seen in d1 was the lag and I also believe if you went to dedicated servers that would have fixed 75 percent of it. I was a day one player. Now I just get on the forums to see if y'all do a sandbox patch. to see if you buffed the guns. I can't believe y'all enjoy playing the game like this. I like a challenge but I also don't like getting my nuts kicked in day in and day out. I just log on the forums waiting and hoping to see some kind of damage buff for add control. The game really sucks in this state.

            • @dmg04 I'm sure it's been explored, but has the idea of using Shaders as a currency been tossed around yet? I'm not sure if the same issues would apply with the current issue of deleting shaders, but what if you could say, go to Tyra Karn or vendor to trade in shaders for glimmer/etc opposed to deleting them for the same result? While not as optimal as deleting them, I think the community would appreciate just an outlet in general to get rid of these things? Even if we can't bulk sell them, at least I can rapid tap "X" or what-have-you to churn over these things rather than holding square for a second at a time you know? Anyway would be curious to hear if this is a possibility or not, thanks!

            • This is just a minor concern. Why do the ghosts all of a sudden take one of the worst art directions? I'm sorry but this roblox esc baby friendly look isn't as appealing as some people may think. Maybe this is just me, but stop going down this direction. Please return to the more original versions with these skins integrated into them. Or make awesome looking ghosts like they were in destiny 1. Examples being the animated crimson doubles ghost shell or the Crota ghost shell same even with the amalgam and Templar shells. These new shell designs just look disappointing and like the ghost is sad.

              • That's a good start, obviously wish you had done something like this in the beginning of D2... I fear there's still a lot to do before we get back to a D1 standard and I'm afraid we might not have the player base to wait much longer. I attempted LFG Prestige for 1.5 hours and gave up because no one wanted to play. Can you do anything to buff Titans and Warlocks so they can be used in crucible? I'm sure you can see the stats and if you play crucible at all, you'll see there's nothing but nightstalkers.

                [b]Nice job. [/b] Gotta say im hesitant to go back to standard mida/uriels pvp after discovering how fun mayhem was. However i understand the nova bomb issue must be fixed first. I like the masterwork armor concept, but i guess i was hoping for more options than just 3% damage reduction during my super.[u] I was hoping masterwork armor would maybe buff the current legendary mod already equipped to that armor piece[/u]; but thats just my two cents. I like the Raid changes. I assume that the Prestige armor comes with better mod options compared to the standard Raid armor? Love the Raid Ghost. The ability to potentially earn Eververse items while playing end game content is something that is much appreciated. Happy to see the Prometheus Lens return, that thing was an ad killer. I do not care about the shader issue at all, and its definitely not a deal breaker in my eyes if it never even comes to fruition. [b]Feburary[/b] Looking forward to Mods 2.0, I really do hope that you make them so impactful that they must be removed from Eververse due to "pay to win" outcomes. [i]PvP should take a back seat to PvE balancing, not the other way around.[/i] Im well aware that your sandbox team is extremely talented; but im also cognizant enough to realize that the competitive PvP goals your studio strives for is what is limiting these super power fantasies that 99% of the community is looking for. I know everyone would love it [u]if you brought back shotguns, sniper rifles and fusion rifles back to the special/energy slot at the price of a reduction in damage or ammo reserves [/u]. Im no advocate for random rolls, but if there is still no replacement for what i can do with my 4th, 5th and 10th better devils; then perhaps its time we go back to random rolls. You guys get alot of flak, not to say it isnt all deserved. Just know that it is because you have created a game that is so unique, that the community has a difficult time dealing with these lulls in time where the game is not rewarding enough to play; thus we are subjected to these one-off looter shooter games to fill the void that are just no comparison to your IP. Keep up the good work and your game will thrive.

                Fantastic TWAB here’s why; 1. Changes being implemented will start to make me Legend again; 2. Changes are being implemented with urgency; 3. Clear detail is provided; 4. Updating the path forward; 5. Explaining reasons behind changes; and 6. Transparent on difficulties (shaders). Please, please keep this coming each week. Would urge faster delivery of sandbox changes to stop people leaving.

              • I noticed the Osiris DLC symbol on the three new weapons offered by Saladin. I understand that Iron Banner does not require this DLC to participate but do we need it to pick up these weapons?
