We can still go back to D1, would you play D1 if enough people logged on?
If enough people come back to D1, we can still have fun with a game/universe that we’ve stuck 3 years into. Th servers are still up. We could fill the tower back up. Last weekend I went back to play WOTM and Crota. It was by far the most fun I’ve had with Destiny in the last 4 months since D2 cane out. #Destiny1isStillAlive

A lot of people never left. The MS LFG page often has 100+ posts looking for people. I don’t know why some people seem to think D1 died. It’s so far from the truth it’s insane. D1 lives!

I bought again the D1 complete edition just yesterday with my friends and clan of D2...because i think we have fun much more. A question: it is possible to drop Osiris armor and weapons though Bungie removed the Trials?

The last time I played the first Destiny was April 25th 2015. Amusingly the first time I played the first Destiny was April 3rd 2015. I didn't last long. That was without any of the DLC although i'm not sure any were out then. It was in a far worse state than D2 is now with smaller worlds and far less people on the planet.

6 RepliesThere are plenty playing D1. I've recruited over 50 players in just 5 days. The amount on D1 will keep growing. It's just a brilliant game. In fairness, d2 had a lot to live up to, and subsequently, failed. Don't hang around waiting for it to be the game everyone wants it to be. It won't happen.

1 ReplyI see more and more people on D1 every day. The player count has visually been increasing more and more. Bungie needs to take note of this and realize D1's model of MMORPG gaming elements is what is needed for D2 to be revived.

1 ReplyId love to play d1 and do the old raids again but the only people i've run into on d1 who want to do raids are either new people who dont know how to do it, people who've had the game since RoI and dont know what to do, or squeakers who cant seem to stay alive or do enough dps to bosses

I still log on for Control week. This was my favorite mode, but there's still a number of issues: lag gods, redbars, killed behind walls, the special ammo debacle etc. Other than that, no. I literally did everything in that game 100 times. I've beaten so many other good games since I stopped playing both, and I will continue to. There comes a point when it's time to move on.

No. I played Destiny 1 for three years. I have no motivation to return to it. I said I would but I just don't see the need for it. I bid it farewell when I got Age of Triumphs completed for myself and account ran for a couple of people during AOT. Then that was it, I've moved from Destiny 1. It had its heyday and yes I have great memories but I just don't see myself investing the near 4000hrs in it again.

1 ReplyOnly if they made more. I played a ton of Destiny 1, got bored and moved on. Now I've played a bunch of Destiny 2, got bored and moved on. I'll come back to either game for new content (assuming it looks good) but I'm not going to start playing Destiny 1 again just because Destiny 2 also has its share of problems. I already played all of that game.

3 RepliesThere’s already tons of people playing. Matchmaking times are faster than D2 most of the time. You might get thrown into a match at the start, but D1 doesn’t rematch you with an entire new team every match of people stay.

played d1 last night. Haven't played it for a bit. So fun!! Then I got on D2 after 2 or so months away. I felt empty.. The music is beautiful, the look, looks great. But the game feels off. The pvp is terrible. The strike I went into I left cause I was like "what for?". It felt boring. I didn't feel powerful. I want to play this faction rally for the loot from future war cult. The armor set for the warlock is badass. But the game isn't fun to play right now.
