Bungie, What on earth are you guys thinking right now? The faction rally (16/1/2018) is just the latest cherry on top of the mountain of cherries of awfulness that you guys are delivering right now. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being mean for the sake of being mean. I played Destiny 1 and thoroughly enjoyed it. But seriously guys, you got to get your sh*t together. The stuff that's mentioned in the update coming for 30/1/2018 and going forward is great. But there's things that don't necessarily add up. For example; Eververse. I know you guys say you're gonna fix it and weigh end game pursuits more towards actual end game rewards, but at the moment, I (and I'm sure most of the community will back me up here) will not believe it until I see it. You stated something in your blog update on 11/1/2018 about being "sensitive about pay-to-win" stuff. If that's true, why on earth would you A) Throttle faction token gains (I get not wanting people to farm 500 tokens an hour but seriously, come on?) after the XP throttling controversy? and B) Slap an exotic ghost shell in EVERVERSE that enables you to GAIN FACTION TOKENS FASTER? I'm sorry guys, but that is pay to win. And, again don't get me wrong, I get that you guys are under pressure to meet certain targets or whatever and that's more than likely why Eververse has such an overwhelming presence in the game. But that doesn't excuse it. People read your blog every week, and when I read the last one it made me happy. But seeing that obvious pay to win ghost shell made me entirely lose faith in you guys again. My next point; No new weapons in the faction rally loot pool? Not cool guys. Once again, that has taken away the grind from so many hardcore players. And that's another problem with the game in general. WHERE IS THE GRIND?? I'll tell you where it is, it's been locked in the basement by Static Rolls. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY - BRING BACK RANDOM ROLLS! GIVE US ALL A REASON TO KEEP PLAYING! After Destiny 1 was done, we all kept playing to get that god rolled Grasp of Malok! The perfect Imago Loop! We all miss it. We all want that back. To summarize, Bungie, please listen to the community. Wade through the vast seas of "Destiny 2 is dead." and listen to the people who want to keep it alive! And show us you're doing something about it! Because, I can promise you, if you don't, this beautiful community that has been building over the years? We're all gonna walk. Destiny 2 will be truly dead. And NO ONE will come back for Destiny 3. (P.S. The problems that I have stated aren't the only problems. Consult Youtube for the rest. There's a lot!)
