Season 2 Faction Rally Rewards
With the release of Curse of Osiris, each Faction has received 5 new weapons. These weapons become available over the course of the season, and cannot be earned through Faction Engrams immediately.
In the first Faction Rally of Season 2 (this week), there is a new Auto Rifle available as the Winner’s Offering. No new Faction Weapons are available through Faction Engrams.
In the second Faction Rally of the season, the Winner’s Offering is updated to a new weapon. Additionally, the previous Winner’s offering (Auto Rifles) and an additional weapon are added to Faction Engram rewards.
The final Faction Rally of the season will follow this functionality: The Winners Offering will be updated to a final weapon that has yet to be featured. The previous Winner’s Offering will be added to the Faction Engram rewards, alongside an additional weapon. This brings the total to four weapons within the Faction Engram, and a final Winner’s Offering for factions to compete for over the course of the event.

So it's the first faction rally for season 2 and it's clear that content is being throttled through the season but as we pay up front we get treated like this... *takes a deep breathe* Dmg04, Please take this back to your higher ups and tell them this doesn't work and you need to release all the season 2 faction rally gear now. We as a community are telling you our problem. We didn't drip throttle you our money for content so niether should you throttle this content for our money. Look forward to your response.

3 RepliesBehind the scenes Bungie added code so any chest (Lost sectors, public events) looted within 10 mins of another will give you no faction tokens...and kept it "hush hush" until the community found and confirmed it. Again. Considering the XP throttling (also discovered by the community) I'm not accepting this as bad communication. [b]This was another poorly executed deception that was exposed by the community. [/b] If anyone from Bungie reads this you can check my account. I'm a day 1 D1 and D2 gold edition player who's finished all the raids but I'm going to have to quit now because you are going out of your way to lie to your community and then calling it "bad communication" when you get caught. I'm going to tell the people still playing this game - It won't be the last attempt at deception unless you remove yourself from the equation altogether.

So, tell me this dmg. What is the point in faction rally at all? We play for LOOT! That's it, this isn't a circle jerk to see who is the best, that's how you made it to be. We just want the f'ing loot. Please seriously consider a complete overhaul of how factions work. Go back to how it was in d1 and let us earn reputation and rewards anytime we want to. This constant constraints on what we can and can't do is unbelievable.

Would people really be outraged if they didn’t buy the dlc and were not able to receive dlc items? No, they wouldnt. But now that you’ve done this, you have downgraded the dlcs usefulness and made everyone with the dlc outraged. I don’t know what the hell is going on over at bungie, but I can say that in the Division a new event is starting so that’s pretty cool.

These seasons are stupid you know in destiny 1 you can level up your favorite faction is much as you want. Destiny 2 everything is “seasonal”. WTF why can’t I play how I want to play. Instead of seasons on here.

Today I've got from engrams only shaders so my questionis what's the point is still playing in this game where rewards are just below expectation. I think Bungie forgot how rule of stick and carrot is working - when you will putt to big stick even the biggest carrot look pretty small from the distance.

You may have just completely killed the last of your remaining player base. This is the final nail in the coffin. Admitting you fecked up AGAIN is wearing extremely thin now. I think it was your plan from the onset. Allow access to faction rally to see a possible return of players to make the population stats look better for Activision but keep quiet about the fact that you had no new stuff to add to the loot pool but give the community the impression that you did in order to bring back players. Shock horror the community found out and all you can come up with is a BS excuse that you should of let the community know in the update. You knew players weren’t gonna return for the rally if there was no carrot to chase so you kept quiet. You donkeys must think we are all stupid. Keep messing up, no please keep goin no point in stopping now as you are on a roll. Just look forward to low sales of the next expansion and then the death of this franchise not long after. Fecking idiots.

It seems that you don't even care about your fan base since this is the 8th time we heard this song and dance before. I didn't buy this game to have content that I payed for held behind a second pay wall with eververse, I didn't pay to have my xp throttled to the ground, I didn't pay just to have to pay for loot from a Holliday event and I sure as he'll didn't pay to have faction rally weapons and tokens being throttled. Your game started fun but now it's just trash. Good-bye for good bungie may we never meet again. Guardian down!

Probably come to find out on top of all the fails since launch that they throttled more than just token drops. Wish I never wasted money on this game. Anyone know of a good developer that doesn’t do this MXT/sketchy bullshet? Played as much free fortnite as I can already.

6 RepliesSo let me get this straight. Instead of giving us new content, Bungie decides to drip-feed us mini-events over the course of the season that have nothing but new weapons in them. But now, those weapons are being drip-fed and sprinkled in slowly over the course of several mini-events? We're being drip-fed the drip-feed.
