Season 2 Faction Rally Rewards
With the release of Curse of Osiris, each Faction has received 5 new weapons. These weapons become available over the course of the season, and cannot be earned through Faction Engrams immediately.
In the first Faction Rally of Season 2 (this week), there is a new Auto Rifle available as the Winner’s Offering. No new Faction Weapons are available through Faction Engrams.
In the second Faction Rally of the season, the Winner’s Offering is updated to a new weapon. Additionally, the previous Winner’s offering (Auto Rifles) and an additional weapon are added to Faction Engram rewards.
The final Faction Rally of the season will follow this functionality: The Winners Offering will be updated to a final weapon that has yet to be featured. The previous Winner’s Offering will be added to the Faction Engram rewards, alongside an additional weapon. This brings the total to four weapons within the Faction Engram, and a final Winner’s Offering for factions to compete for over the course of the event.

Something didn't work as planned and weapons are not dropping. Instead of admitting problem and explaing fix for next rally, we get an explanation like it was planned. If it was planned we would have been told before or on reset.

1 ReplyUNPOPULAR OPINION - I am fine with this. The only Faction Gear Sets I wanted for all my characters was New Monarchy. Of course I want all the weapons from all the factions tho. I was missing the whole gear set for my Warlock, the chest for my Hunter, and the class item for my Titan. I pledged all my characters to New Monarchy and was able to purchase full sets of New Monarchy gear for all my characters! Thank you Bungie for making gear purchasable!!!! I was worried about missing out on all the new weapons from Dead Orbit and FWC. But know I knowI have nothing to worry about during this faction rally. Next faction rally I can pledge to all the factions and get all the weapons. This totally worked out for me! Thank you Bungie for making faction gear purchasable!!! This is one of the greatest changes you've made since launch imo. I ran 2 faction rallys with my Hunter in New Monarchy and never got the chest peice, nothing fun about running 800 tokens with my Hunter and never getting the chest piece.

Thanks for saving my time and effort, I wont put any time into the rally until the last one of the season

Ok, seriously ya'll just need to relegate the factions to vendor status like last year. They are pointless at this point and instead of the time you put into fixing them you could spend more time fixing real issues in game. I mean seriously. I run a character on each faction I can buy the weapon at end. Why bother messing with rally's that hold no significance or purpose. Heck all the time you spend writing a this week at bungie talking about how great they are you could fix real issues like the respawn issue in the raid where people have to leave to get it going or other stuff. The weapons really aren't they awesome, there is no Hung Jury in there or anything. So make factions vendors again and be done with it.

This event is a timed limited event you bone heads. If season three is around the corner then how can we earn these weapons your ideas are killing this game get it together and fix the throttled lost sector time from ten min to what it was. Your all pricks.

If your listening, answer me this: For the last month I have been expressing via multiple posts, that the Faction reward for the last Faction Rally be moved into the loot pool, BECAUSE of the delay, and to keep more New guns in the loot pool... so no answer to any of those posts, plus the way you neglected to add new loot to the pool. So here's the question: where are you listening, I've sent a tweet, I've posted many times here. Or do we have to get news coverage.

Grinding a whole week of Faction Rally for an RNG chance at 1-2 new guns is abysmal. Bracing myself for Iron Banner to be just as terrible. So disappointed with Bungie.

Slow clap for Bungie's communication skills. Note to Bungie: keeping significant changes/shady tactics (see consumable shaders, XP throttling, the Dawning, no new loot in Faction Rally, etc. etc. etc. etc.) a secret until after the community discovers them is a HORRIBLE, AWFUL, TERRIBLE idea.
