I'm still amazed that destiny is the only rpg that I have ever played that you can use starting gear to kill almost everything, the only difference is the level on the gear, which is a requirement to enter certain quest. What rpg has a raid and raid gear that isn't the best stuff. If you play borderlands your higher tier gear is extremely better than the low tier gear, same with the division, FFXIV, probably WoW, and any other MMO. It's dumb

Community hotfix 1.1.1.4 was released shortly after the Bungie hotfix 1.1.1.3. In the community hotfix 1.1.1.4 we'll be addressing over population. We'll be throttling player count in both PVP and PVE until further notice.

I get removing a cheat that would grant characters 500 an hour but for the love of all thats good. 2chest within 10mins limit? Youve taken away everything we love and replace it with literal shit. Ran all three within 10 mins and only got rewards from two of the sectors. Why have three near each other if your going to limit the rewards and tokens. I'm not going to waste my time to loot sectors if I have to wait 10 minutes in between for reward tokens. As a day 1 D1 player, I have to say this product is an embarrassment for bungie.

You ALREADY "throttled" this by limiting how many worthwhile rewards a player can get per rally (spoiler alert: the number is "Zero" because everything you get will consistently be at least 10 points BELOW what you actually need/can use). After 30 packets, all a player can get for their farming is shaders. That's it. No armor, no weapons, nothing but more shaders. You already addressed mass farming by making it pointless. You just punished ALL players for the actions of a few who really weren't doing anything that in any way affected anyone else. And I know what some people might try to say. "Oh this token farming exploit could give a faction an unfair advantage in the rally and affect who wins." Nope. If this was an exploit exclusive to a specific faction, then yea, you might have an argument. When literally everyone can do it, the difference isn't going to be noticeable. The overall proportions will more than likely be the same, you just end up with, say, 40,000, 35,000, and 25,000 as the final tally instead of 4,000, 3,500, and 2,500. And it's not like the players who did this got any other rewards for it. After the second time opening the chest you didn't get anything but Faction Rally tokens. No gear, no glimmer, no destination tokens, just Rally tokens. If players were able to use this to pad their odds of getting an exotic, or even a legendary, you might have something worth addressing. Instead, what you have are players voluntarily SURRENDERING any and all chance of getting high-level gear/engrams in exchange for a faster token gain rate. For gear that is basically garbage anyway. Stop using D1 answers to D2 situations. There are no "god rolls," so it literally means nothing if a player can get tokens faster than someone else because they will literally be getting the exact same items in the end. One will just WASTE less time chasing that junk. And that's really what it is. A waste. Faction Rallies. Iron banner. Raids, Lairs, Lost Sectors, Nightfall, Heroic Strikes, EVERYTHING in this game is just a waste. Once you get certain gear there's absolutely no reason to keep playing. Except "just for fun." Stop being the Fun Police, Bungie. If "exploiting" a Lost Sector for Rally Tokens just to get it out of the way, get their "collection" and then get back to just playing the game for entertainment, let them. I've tried this "exploit." It is mind-numbingly boring but that was a necessary evil because the one and only point of the Rallies so far has been to get those 30 engrams each time and hope to collect everything that's being offered. And on THAT note, you want to "fix" something about Faction Rallies? Fix your -blam!-ing loot tables! I hit that 30 engram mark on two characters in the first Rally and after more than a dozen repeats of damn near every other item and getting at least one of each of every other item NEITHER of them got even ONE Faction helmet. Second rally: same story again but this time I got all THREE characters their 30 engrams and guess what? NONE of them had Faction gauntlets. Not a single one. So far every Faction Rally has picked a piece of armor and completely removed it from the loot table. -blam!- you, Bungie. I'm calling bullshit on you for that. Fix THAT problem, because THAT is an actual problem. THAT actually impacts the players, the game, and the event because players who want COMPLETE sets of armor have been FORCED to pledge the same faction twice in a row instead of being able to try something different each time. YOU screwed the players. Fix yourself, Bungie.

Not only is the loot pool for factions full of season one weapons, and barely any new weapons. but you’ve throttled down loot from lost sectors hahaha and now the remaining players you have left are even more annoyed.
